So, me and Battlepenguin have collaborated recently on some gorillaz songs. Some have been from humanz, here are the finished Humanz songs.

(NOTE: These are all Full Band, I don’t believe in customs with missing parts.)

• Ascension
• Submission

I’m starting to work on Momentz, We got the power, and Charger. If anyone would like to help on any song from the album not mentioned here, and maybe chart some instruments or vocals, PM me and we can work it out!

 

 

This leads me to the question: Should I do the whole Humanz album? Some of these songs can work for rock band very well.

And should I include the interludes as separate songs, or mash them together?

What do you guys think?

My 2 cents: If you have the motivation to do the whole album, go for it. As for the interludes, while I think they definitely have their place on the album, I don’t think they add much to Rock Band. If I remember correctly, most of them are just a spoken word type of transition with maybe a few seconds of basic drum beats. The only one that sounds like it may be a fun transition to play is New World. There are already so many tracks on this album as it is, so I think the interludes aren’t necessary. It’s your call, though.

I would love El Mana (probably spelled that wrong) . Someone was charting it last I saw lol can’t remember if it was you or not

I think of it as, if I’m not going to play the song regularly, then I’d rather put that authoring time to something I will play over and over again. But that’s just me, if you want to play the entire album over and over then go for it.

Yeah, I think in this situation a full album would be great but I also think if any of the gorillaz full albums would work better on RB it would be Demon Days but that’s just personal preference. I also think in RB’s case I rather have select songs from all their albums instead of just 1 album. But again this is Gorillaz so whatever you do is appreciated and fine ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />

Just popped in to say I bought the album on deluxe vinyl today so I had the best experience and now I REALLY need to have the Interlude: Elevator Going Up on full band with full difficulties, definitely one of the greatest masterpieces in history, can’t wait!
