Dear StackOverflow0x,
thank you for a new packer. It packs items now, but as I load them into a game, it deletes all the files in sZGP except of 008.bin, 015.bin and 016.bin. I cleared cache and even deleted savegames… I will try to install sZGP.wad file again. Don’t know if it can be a reason for this.
July 19, 2015 at 7:10 am #450708Now I am getting “Addon content cannot be restored to system memory.” but it doesn’t delete them as “corrupted files”… Could it be related to tmd file because all my ID files are ok.
July 19, 2015 at 6:25 pm #450728This is usually a file access problem. Either a ticket problem, or the path in the dta, the name of the slot, etc.
July 20, 2015 at 12:14 am #450757Do the other files work? It might be an issue related to packing the files. Otherwise, it’s nearly identical to sZGE which others have gotten to work.
July 20, 2015 at 6:32 am #450771Nope, whatever I put inside sZGP cannot be imported into game. It tries to import it every time I start the game. sZFP works up untill 429.bin. I starterd with 003.bin, should I start with bigger number? What is the difference with PAL and NTSC packer versions anyway?
July 21, 2015 at 1:47 am #450867Did you install the included sZGP WAD before? 003 should be perfectly fine to start with.
July 21, 2015 at 6:12 am #450878Yes, I installed it and reinstalled it. If I dont do that the game won’t even notice the folder.
July 22, 2015 at 3:15 am #450941Then may lead to either the ng_id or common-key file being wrong. Make sure those values are correct and then repack the BINs.
July 23, 2015 at 4:24 am #450986Alright, I decided to start loading my customs using virtual nand on a SD card. Its works great in quickly loading the customs, but noticed the game randomly freezes and produces that high-pitch sound A LOT more often. Especially when I I try to load up a song’s (customs or the ones I bought) album art or preview file on the song list screen. When I restart my Wii to check to see the it will freeze on that song again, it doesn’t… but crashes on another song down the list. I’m completely puzzled.
Anyway I’m using USB Loader GX v3.0 rev 1247. RB3 is being launched from a USB drive on ISO249 with full nand emulation enabled. Here’s my sysCheck:

Report generated on 05/23/2015.I have noticed a lot of people start to use virtual nand emulation for loading their customs on this thread, but noticed no complains like this yet. I’m curious on what everyone else is using to do this because I don’t know if something is wrong with my Wii’s setup or what but something is just completely wrong.
July 23, 2015 at 9:38 am #450989I use this method: http://www.wiiuiso.com/showthread.php?1 … Hack-!-%29
July 24, 2015 at 2:37 am #451024The game freezing on hover is a bit concerning because I don’t get it often enough to understand why it happens. Are meta files being kept under 500 KB? Which songs cause this issue?
July 24, 2015 at 3:01 am #451026I had the freezing with high pitch issue even before I softmodded the Wii. I figured it was the Wii version of Rock Band 3 being a buggy rush job. Sometimes it was as a song was going on, or when navigating menus and it does a sound loop hang, or when a goal was achieved, or that period between the song finishing and the results screen showing up. All before I even started with my softmodding/customs adventure.

Which songs cause this issue? At the moment I only have about 10 custom songs in and their _meta contents are all under 500KB. It mostly happens to the store bought songs since there is much more of them then customs.
I had the freezing with high pitch issue even before I softmodded the Wii. I figured it was the Wii version of Rock Band 3 being a buggy rush job. Sometimes it was as a song was going on, or when navigating menus and it does a sound loop hang, or when a goal was achieved, or that period between the song finishing and the results screen showing up. All before I even started with my softmodding/customs adventure.Same for me too, but that was occasionally. Since I started the loading the game through the virtual nand, it became MUCH more frequent. For instance, when I go through the song select menu and just preview the audio, it will usually freeze with the high pitch sound on the 20th or 30th one I preview. Then I would have to hold the power button for 5 seconds to shut it down.
July 24, 2015 at 3:27 am #451028It sounds like it would have to be a virtual nand configuration issue. I don’t have much experience with it, so I wouldn’t know what’s wrong. But it has to be because of that if it’s happening to store DLC. I’ve seen hangs, like where the game continually gets stuck in a long loop or something and locks up for about a minute, but that’s very infrequent.
July 24, 2015 at 3:36 am #451030Alright, I guess that I’m going back to loading songs from the SD since it was much simpler and it just worked. Thanks for everyone’s input!!
