Yes, I did a cache reset the game starts reading the songs from the SD card and they load just fine. I’m able to move through the menu. Although when I click on anything involving going to the song library it just freezes up. Is it advised to undo the smart folder merged songs? Alternatively if I remove the smart folder merged files and want to take those and put them in the sZGE folder do I do the same and start from 052?
May 20, 2015 at 7:19 pm #445972Start taking song folders out one by one until it stops breaking. Unfortunately, the cache becomes a problem, so try letting it cache part of your files by loading them in in small batches. Then you can narrow down the culprit song or songs.
May 22, 2015 at 5:12 pm #446092Well after a long process I found the culprit, although the strange thing is that the sZGE folder songs load up just fine and so do the sZFE; but when I put both of them and start the game it freezes.
May 23, 2015 at 4:55 am #446126That can’t be right since I’m using the both of them. You must have a problem in one of your files. Probably something in sZGE.
May 23, 2015 at 11:12 pm #446174Dear Sirs,
I am setting this up on vWii for some time. I did everything “by the book”, and I am only missing sZFE.wad file that installs. I’ve found one but I get error message when installing it (-1022). My customs wont load then. My questions are:
1. Do I have to download some sZFE song from store so I can load from that folder?
2. If this wad install failed, can I buy a song that will download in sZFE?
3. In that case, can you tell me one song that is sZFE song so I can download it?
Thank you for your time!
May 24, 2015 at 2:57 am #446189That should be the error to expect. It only comes up because Rock Band and possibly other DLC titles that were hacked this way expect all contents specified in the TMD to appear in the WAD, which is not what we want. The same will happen with my sZGE and sZHE WADs. After those install with error -1022, then your built songs should start working. If they don’t, it’s probably because of another reason. Please use my pre-alpha song packer tool for a basic check of common problems.
Also, here’s a new version of RockBiink. Still no DTA feature, but now instruments are more clearly marked when you’re supposed to use left and right tracks or just a mono track. Also, the context menu fill with silence option also works now. Finally, no more dummy.bik. The build process should be a bit more streamlined.
May 24, 2015 at 6:18 am #446198I’ve been having issues with getting the customs to run. I went through the softmodding process with no issues or errors. I got to the packing DLC part but when I went to load the songs, I got some error saying they were corrupt. So I re-did the process. Turns out I forgot the common-key, but now with a common-key the .bin’s won’t actually be created. I have my console ID in properly, the paths are right, the common-key just makes it break.
Also as a side note, I can’t get FSToolbox to run
Any help is appreciated! ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif” />
Thanks,
-Caleb
May 24, 2015 at 6:54 am #446199I understand, but when I pack songs for sZJP (I have sZJP folder with bought songs, but I dont have title.x files to pack it) it loads but deletes them due to being corrupted as expected. Due to this being Wii U, I am not to comfortable installing wads a lot due to no brick protection. When I install sZFE.wad (with error 1022) the songs don’t load at all ,not even corrupted message or number increase, like when the sZFE.wad was not installed.
My idea is that songs, if packed wrong, always load but get deleted due to the “corruption”. Is that right?
EDIT:
Here, all ok:

Hi, Caleb, you probably deleted 00000026.app in packer folder as I did when cleaning apps. Put it back from the original zip and .bins should be created.

Nope, I just checked and in my most recent attempt it was still in the folder
May 24, 2015 at 7:12 am #446202Try running pre-alpha song packer tool that StackOverflow0x asked me to run few posts back. Just put it in packer folder.
May 24, 2015 at 7:37 am #446203Try running pre-alpha song packer tool that StackOverflow0x asked me to run few posts back. Just put it in packer folder. Thanks, it says that the key can’t be .bin, what does this mean because the key generator made it as a .bin and that’s the only state I’ve seen other people use it in. Is it not supposed to be a .bin?
May 24, 2015 at 7:39 am #446204Wich key? Common or console ID? Common-key file should not have an extension.

*EDIT*
I removed the extension and the bins generated. I’ll try running them on the console.
*EDIT 2*
Yeah, no dice… and FSToolbox still won’t load on HBC
May 24, 2015 at 7:57 am #446206I downloaded mine from here http://static.wiidatabase.de/FSToolBox.zip
