Oh, oops. I’ll get that fixed.
April 21, 2015 at 9:13 pm #443408Thanks fella – can you let me know when it’s up please ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
April 22, 2015 at 12:54 am #443419Ah, I completely forgot about it. It should be fixed now.
April 22, 2015 at 7:54 am #443429Perfect – thanks for that.
April 22, 2015 at 8:56 pm #443476I have a questionI often play rb3 with a bunch of friends, but they are not so good, so it quite annoying when someon miss a note and that part of the instrument stops playing.
So, is there a way to the instrument songs to keep playing even when you miss a single note?
Also, seems there no way to low or mute the background volume sound (van, airplane, train) when choosing a song…
Yeah the only option for that is under modifiers, un check the miss sounds option. Though that doesn’t really solve your problem, but at least that annoying miss sounds goes away forever.
Here’s a great workaround for those annoying van, airplane, train, and damn zooming car sounds you have to deal with while choosing a song:
Before any profile is chosen, sign in under guest. Then go into the song menu. The guest profile always uses the subway background, which is the least obnoxious of the bunch. From here you can sign out and sign back in with your main and any additional profiles you want. If you back out all the way to the main menu, you’ll have to sign in under guest again to avoid the other noisy ass backdrops. But yeah I figured that out after throwing a rock band party and having to wait forever for someone to pick a damn song. It was just vroom-vroom, honk-honk, over and over. it drove me crazy.
April 22, 2015 at 11:42 pm #443482I am trying to get custom songs to work for the first time. I have modded my wii. I installed the wads and got the -1022 error I was supposed to. I have packed the songs using the tools on the front page, and I used the same naming convention used on the front page.
When I open up Rock Band it says “Add-on content cannot be restored to the Wii system memory”
I have not been able to clear the cache using fstoolbox either. I went title/00010000/535a4245/data
and when I had selected data and press ‘A’, nothing happened. I checked on my SD card and the file was inside the data folder, but for some reason I couldn’t access it on my Wii.
I imagine the two may be related, let me know if anyone can figure something out.
April 23, 2015 at 12:53 am #443490If it’s not loading in the game, it could be that you don’t have d2x installed, which would mean you might not have IOS 249 on your system. Run a syscheck on your Wii and post the results here.
For resetting the cache, if you can get WiiXplorer set up, it’s a bit better at doing that. You can back up, copy, erase, and add DLC all from your FTP client on your computer.
April 23, 2015 at 1:08 pm #443522I ran syscheck, and when it got to “Testing IOS vulnerabilities”, it froze and the disk slot of the Wii started blinking blue, so I shut off the Wii. I did a google search, and it said to do that. Here is what was recorded on the screen.

The file it saved on my SD card just has what’s displayed in this image:
sysCheck v1.6.2 by Erik Spyder
Region: NTSC-U
The system menu v513 is running under IOS58 (rev 6176)
Hollywood v0x11
Console ID: 107790479
Boot2 v4
Found 120 titles
Found 50 IOS on this console
Found 5 IOS Stubs on this console
So I guess I need to install IOS 249 and d2x? How do I install them?
April 24, 2015 at 1:21 am #443589Someone else earlier had the same issue. Get syscheck v2.1.0b19 and then it should complete.
April 24, 2015 at 11:40 am #443602April 24, 2015 at 1:45 pm #443605Okay, it looks correct. How are you booting the game? Is it with IOS 249?
April 24, 2015 at 3:12 pm #443612After reading your message I realized I had always been loading it the normal way, without using a USB loader, so I tried a USB loader, made it boot with IOS 249, and the DLC worked! Thank you!
Is it possible to make it work without using a USB reader, and just reading off the disc?

The way that I do it is through Neogamma because I could never get my game loaded onto a usb flash. That’s how I’ve loaded mine from when I’ve started to play around with customs. You can possibly try that out if you want to keep running the game with a disc.
April 25, 2015 at 8:11 pm #443702I downloaded a few Xbox customs the the forums (like Uptown Funk). I got them converted, packed and moved to the sd card. When I load the game, it found them and added them to the catalog, but I get the “cannot load into system memory” error on them. The songs I had downloaded before still work fine. Did I need to reset the cache, or did I do something else wrong?
April 26, 2015 at 12:23 am #443714Make sure you’re updating the DTA correctly. You can’t add a song to a DTA that’s already been read by the game without a reset. But you can add it separately on its own number. But again, DTA has to be correct. The packer should not be letting you pack without that fixed.
