I see in a thread from May other people couldn’t get this to work either. To my surprise they say to just “pack the meta/song folders as much as possible”. I find that odd because packdlc.bat doesn’t work after awhile for me, roughly 300MB file-size or 13 songs or so, whichever number comes first.
October 14, 2017 at 5:56 am #491472How would I correct a problem with the ticket? I’m using the system files in the OP.
Dolphin 5.0.
The Loading/Finding DLC loop does end after about an hour… with an emulator crash, because apparently it’s starting to do a memory leak or something. I’m not really sure. Next time it boots up, same deal.
It might have to do with the way the app files are built.
You’ll need to be more specific with the Dolphin version. After the 5.0, there’s a number that says what the build is.
October 14, 2017 at 5:58 am #491473All it says is 5.0. I tried an older version (4.0.2) and it has the same problems.
What do you mean about the app files, by the way? And how could I fix that?
October 15, 2017 at 10:25 pm #491538Hi there, really good tutorial here man, but i have a problem with Dolphin Emulator and DLC
When i put the required Wii files on the Dolphin Emulator/Wii Folder, it overwrites some files from my real NAND, and so then, it makes to occur a really weird thing when i want to play online with other people using emulator, in RB3 or Guitar Hero Warriors of rock (GH6), it happens like we’re the same person, and the game or freezes, emulator crashes or things like that
Even, we have the same progress, same save, same custom characters and going on
Is there a way to fix this? i know isn’t related to ticket, title or sys folder, so it should be discarding, shared2 folder, a file there is making that happening and idk why ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_frown.gif” />
TIA
EDIT:well for now i fixed creating 2 separate nands, one for RB3 only, the other for GH6 and other games
EDIT2: now i tried but without the DLC files from here and it worked too, why, i have no idea, but welp, thanks xD

I had the same problem when i installed all the DLC in one go (1700 songs or something near that), it crashed when i used Ishiiruka Dolphin, went to a dev version and it didn’t crash (with dev i mean a build which are released periodically, not the stable ones)
October 16, 2017 at 2:25 am #491552Which developer version did you use?

5.0-5636
October 16, 2017 at 5:06 am #491566I just tried that version, it doesn’t crash but when it loads the song list it deletes 0000000F.app and then proceeds to not load almost all songs before 0000000F.app for some odd reason.

really? in my case not problems so far, first i installed the songs and “compiled” in that dolphin, then went to Ishiiruka Dolphin 988 and everything works, just yesterday i installed 200 songs more and no problems so far, i have 2010 songs if i’m not wrong
October 17, 2017 at 2:23 am #491593Ishiiruka is just as dysfunctional and does the same things that the developer versions of Dolphin does for me. Just tried it.

Wait me a little, i made a video showing the DLC songs, and i will upload a pic showing that it indeed works xD i’m not lying
EDIT1: first the pic, i’m still uploading the video
EDIT2: Here the video
October 17, 2017 at 4:52 am #491598Didn’t say you were lying, it just doesn’t work for me. No idea why.

and you have you tried, not installing all at the same time, but 1 by 1? it is really tedious but it may work with any dolphin version
you will have to re-do a NAND tho, or load a new again like i did if you have a real NAND
then just install 1 dlc, open, save the songs, close and keep doing like that
I remember for me it crashed between 500-650 songs
October 17, 2017 at 4:35 pm #491605By saving the songs do you mean saving the song cache? I’ve never got a dolphin version where it actually saved it; it always reload it on boot like a ps3.

is the thing when is says “loading custom songs” or something like that when you install a song/dlc, it just happens 1 time and then everything is loaded after, i guess yeah it is the song cache?
