Hey all

 

Welcome to my customs & converts.  I plan to be putting up songs as i get them in game,  so consider any single instrument songs as works in progress that will be updated as each instrument chart is completed.

 

If i’m taking too long to get your prefferred instrument added, feel free to PM me any charts you create & i’ll add to the OP (likewise any fixes or criticisms, i’m certaily not precious about my charting & appreciate any tips or tricks!)

One “housecleaning” suggestion…perhaps you can write out the artist/song title in your posts (in text), so that anybody in the future who uses the handy dandy “Search” feature will be able to locate/enjoy your work.

These guys from ATL are definately ranked somewhere in my top 5 bands of all time, due in no small part to their drummer being a major influence on my playing since back in the late 90s.

 

I started mapping this song right before it appeared on one of the great bearded one’s coming soon lists,  but decided to continue coz i don’t think there can ever be such a thing as Too Much Sevendust?!  well not in my book anyhoo.

 

At this stage its only guitar & drums,  and both charts will be getting a clean & polish once my mates & i have smashed thru it a few times & figured out where they need work  (ie –  chorus guitar strumming patterns & the hats part in the bridge both come to mind as kinda woeful at the mo)  so stay tuned for updates n fixes.

Praise was always pretty high up on my Sevendust to do list, so yeah i reckon i could slide it up to the top!

 

still got a few on the go right now but once i’m done with them i’ll make sure Praise is in the next batch

Next up is one of my fav tracks from a band out of my home town (Perth, Western Australia) who are currently kicking serious ass all across the globe.

 

At this stage its a very early WIP. I started with bass on this one so that the bands bass player JP (frequent RB party attendee) could have a crack at one of his own tunes at our next RB night. Also, its gotta be one of the fattest bass sounds ever committed to tape, yet far less complex than most of his others basslines, so its fun for all the family!

 

this track is from their 2nd album, on which i was lucky enough to do a bit of studio work for them & so am able to create this rb3con (& a couple more i’ve got planned) from the multitrack masters.

 

If u’v never heard of these guys, i recommend checking this song out, if not for the bonecrushing bass sound, or the polyrythmic groove of the drumtrack, then do it for the sheer weight & balls of the keychange in the outro!!!

This upload is for any drummers out there who, like me, have probably been loving sinking their teeth into all of the killer Portnoy tracks supplied lately thanks to the hard work of guys like SideshowNick , Oscarj & the Mighty Bearded One!

 

I’ve been wanting to have a crack at this song for a while, and recently came across the chart buried in piles of FoF stuff i grabbed ages ago but haven’t gotten round to converting.

 

The Drums Chart was authored by Onyxite (possible collaboration from Grinnz? not sure on that tho!)

 

Not intending on adding any other instruments to this personally (just wanted to have a smash at the drum chart!) but if anyone wants the reaper files flick me a PM.

In keeping with the Mike Portnoy era Dream Theater trip that i’ve been on lately, here is another Xpert drums only con.

 

I’ve been tinkering with this drum chart for a while now but can’t seem to get it to play in game without freezing the xbox, so i’m now just uploading the original chart i grabbed from the FoF forums.
