~Week One Suggestions~

~How To Participate~
Each week we need you to post one song nomination here that you think deserves a place on our growing list of high quality custom charts
After picking your nomination, you can use your three upvotes (one per song) on any song nominated by another member.
~How It Works~
Each member can nominate one song and vote for three other nominations per week and they must be posted in this format: “Artist – Song [Author(s)]”
Every Friday we will tally the votes and review every song with three or more votes
Our board consists of 5 members of the community that are very familiar with the rules of authoring and are capable of making accurate customs
Each song that we review needs at least 3 votes from the board to make it on the list
The songs that we approve will be added to our list the following Friday and we will tally votes and start reviewing again
~Rules~
1. Each member of the community can nominate ONE song per week which can be used on any custom song on this site. If you nominate more than one song, we will ignore all of your votes for that week
2. If you would like to change your nomination, edit your original post. Do not make another post. Please do not change your vote on Friday
3. Each member of the community gets THREE upvotes per week which can be used on any song in the Suggestions List at the top of this post, these are to be used only on songs that have been suggested by another member during that voting week.
4. One upvote per song per member. Meaning one person cannot upvote a single song more than once.
5. If you would like to change your upvotes, edit your original post. Do not make another post. Please do not change your upvotes on Friday
6. You can nominate any custom on this site (except official C3 or GHtoRB3 releases), including your own. If you do nominate your own custom please PM an RPP and music file to me to simplify the review process.
7. Again, USE THIS FORMAT: “Artist – Song [Author(s)]” If you do not, your suggestions may be ignored for the week
~Tiers~
There will be three tiers of varying quality: the BRONZE tier, the SILVER tier, and the GOLD tier. All songs must have at least 95% chart accuracy, an accurate tempo map, and all legacy instruments authored to make it into any tier. I repeat, tiers DO NOT have anything to do with chart accuracy. A BRONZE tier song could possibly be more accurate than a GOLD song and vice-versa. The rules for each tier are as follows:
BRONZE TIER:
CAT reductions
CAT animations
Harmonies are not required
Pro Keys / Keys are not required
SILVER TIER:
Manual reductions
CAT animations
Harmonies are required
Pro Keys are not required
GOLD TIER:
Manual reductions
Manual animations
Harmonies are required
Pro Keys are required
Authored Venue is required
Each song must meet ALL of a tier’s requirements to make it into that tier. If even one requirement is not met, then it will not be placed in that tier. For example, if a song has manual animations, harmonies, pro keys, and an authored venue, but it has CAT reductions it will be BRONZE, not GOLD.

This is a very difficult list to make it onto. We are not trying to discourage or upset anyone and we hope that regardless of the outcome, you keep authoring songs! If your song almost made it, we will do our best to reach out to you and let you know what we thought needed work. In rare circumstances, one of our members may offer to help fix your custom, which is obviously completely up to you. If you attempt to fix the problem, one of us will take a look at your song again. This only applies to those authors that WE reach out to. Please do not contact us to ask what was wrong with your chart, we will contact you first IF we are interested.
~Note To The Community~
Please bear with us for the first few weeks while we work out all the kinks. We’re not entirely sure what’s going to work best yet and we’re doing our best to figure that out. We are doing this for the community and we hope that everyone will trust our opinions more and more as time goes on. We sincerely hope to have a huge list someday and we simply can’t do it without you. So please, keep suggesting songs every week and we will make something great together

The board compiled a short list of songs to start things off (that you can find in a link above)! Congratulations if you made the cut! There were many songs that didn’t make it through our very tough reviewing process
Perhaps I’m daft, but I don’t understand what the purpose of this is. And yes, I read the entire post. Is it just a community curated suggestion list of what to download?
Please leave out from the list any official C3 song, which includes GHtoRB3 ports. Official releases underwent a level of scrutiny that is beyond the purpose of this project.

The community suggests songs to be reviewed by the board. So just because the community suggests it, doesn’t mean it’ll be on the list
The list itself serves two purposes.
1. Is to highlight the highest quality songs on the site and show appreciation to the authors that made them
2. Is to provide a list of high quality songs that are good to update (ie. turning a BRONZE song to SILVER or GOLD)
Please leave out from the list any official C3 song, which includes GHtoRB3 ports. Official releases underwent a level of scrutiny that is beyond the purpose of this project.
