Help with Artists and Albums stuff?

I want to make an album in Rock Band, I know it’s definetly gonna take some time. But this album I’m working on is a soundtrack and it includes songs that weren’t on an album, but are made by different artists for about every song. Should I make it all under one artist and credit the artist in the song title, or should I put the original artist as the song’s artist?

Is this a film soundtrack, or video game soundtrack? Either way, you should credit the actual artist of the song, and have the album metadata be that of the soundtrack album. There are C3 releases that are good examples of both (video game soundtracks such as Nintendo songs and songs from indie games, as well as songs from soudntracks to The Wedding Singer and Last Action Hero).

It’s a video game, and I’ll take your advice, artist shall be credited as the artist in game. I’m not gonna say what video game it is though because it’ll be a great surprise for fans of the game.
