    I’m currently working on the Drum Instrument for Rush – Clockwork Angels.

    I’m at the last part right now where I am providing reductions for the lower difficulties. However, I am unsure of which way I would prefer or is better to use on this part:

    Clockwork Angels (1:08-1:28)

    Provided is a picture representation of what I have for this section.

    Expert = My current Expert gems (disco flip)

    Hard = Option #1 (disco flip)

    Med = Option #2

    Easy = Option #3

    I currently have it as Option #1 which I prefer as it uses the 1-2-3-4 and leaves out the 5-6 counts. I enjoy how that rhythm translates in a triplet themed song. However I feel that is likely too hard (Even though Run to the Hills taught me a huge lesson haha).

    If I should not use #1, which one should I use?

    #2 follows the actual right hand pattern, but I feel that could feel weird without the accompanied left notes.

    #3 is a more steady beat, which falls into two problems for me. The first is that even though it is on beat, the triplet nature of the song could throw off the rhythm for a Hard level player. Secondly, those are also my current Medium level gems for this section, which I don’t like having for both difficulties.

    Also, if I’m going with either #2 or #3, should I put in the hi-hat to accompany the snare hit? I understand why charts may do that, but I personally feel it’s too weird especially when its a strong sounding snare by itself.

    Disco flips are a odd case, you chart them as a normal rock beat on Hard and Medium, so basically Option 2#, just with hi-hats added along with each snare hit.
