Hi! I am a designer and I need to create a hat mockup that will display my design well. It is important that the mockup looks natural and eye-catching. What are the options for creating such a mockup? I have tried several free tools, but not all of them were suitable for my project. Maybe some of you have already done something similar and can share your experience? Which service is the best for such purposes?
You can use paid resources like Placeit or Mockup World, but there are also free alternatives like Freepik where you can find quality mockups. However, it is important to remember that not every template is suitable for displaying a design on a hat. I recommend reading an article that discusses mistakes when placing designs on mockups: https://sbhinter.com/mockup-mythbusting-placing-your-hat-on-mockups/ . It explains how to achieve a more natural and professional look. I use Photoshop to adjust and adapt mockups to a specific design – this helps to get the perfect result.
It is very important that the mockup looks natural, and not just a picture with a design superimposed. I found the offset function in Photoshop useful – it helps to perfectly fit my design to the shape of the hat. Also, if you want to make the mockup as realistic as possible, you should pay attention to textures and lighting.
