mrmet2087 – if I decide to buy these songs I’m thinking it would be easiest to buy them over the xbox live website and then direct it to download them to the console from there. Haven’t tried that in a while though.
Keeping the content Canadian since 2017!

Just remove any released official DLC from the C3 database.
There surely couldn’t be very many matches.
Sure could the select few who want to pirate just keep it songs they already have, yea, but most of us wouldn’t and with it removed from the C3 database no one in the future could have it.
The other issue is wasting time on matching DLC but then I suppose that would just have to a risk an author is willing to take.
It’s not like pirating charts anyways seeing how they are authored by two different people.
Super similar maybe but not like a rip from the official store or anything.
January 12, 2015 at 8:36 pm #436105Ya know, with Grohl having a bazillion songs in Rock Band anyway, maybe he’s a fan and maybe he contracted to have the song put out as PR. Kind of what I suspect drove the whole Green Day game and certain singles like “Call Me Maybe” that came out quick while they were hot but aren’t exactly in the wheel-house of the Rock Band game. You need a three pack for historical sake and you pick up a couple of songs from high demand artists that were stuck in the pipeline and didn’t get out before weekly DLC came to a close and, voila, you have our release.
It might’ve worked like that. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
I like that Foo song the best off their new album, so I’m happy we’re getting it. I also *always* prefer multi-track in Rock Band, so official DLC replacing customs is almost always better to me since multis are pretty rare here. Plus HMX getting back in the RB game is a no-brainer great thing.
I hope the Foo track has pro guitar.
January 12, 2015 at 8:39 pm #436106When I get some cash flow i’ll probably snatch em’ up. Don’t know any of the songs though. Good to see anyway.
January 12, 2015 at 8:50 pm #436109This was a pleasant surprise to wake up to today! I love customs, and C3, but IMO, nothing beats official DLC. I do not know any 3 of these songs, but I will be buying all 3. Now they just need to fix the online leaderboards so rockbandscores.com works again, and ill be content!
January 12, 2015 at 9:35 pm #436112The reason there will be no new DLC for Wii is because the Nintendo shut down online support for it last year
January 12, 2015 at 9:42 pm #436114So uh. I’ll buy all 3. I’ll even play them all to upload a score so they see someone played it.
January 12, 2015 at 9:42 pm #436115My opinion is that this was older material that was released with a new track from band that sells really well. No idea about the why.You need a three pack for historical sake and you pick up a couple of songs from high demand artists that were stuck in the pipeline and didn’t get out before weekly DLC came to a close and, voila, you have our release. Two tracks are from 2013 albums (September and November releases), and one is from a 2014 album.
I doubt it was older/pipeline material.
January 12, 2015 at 9:49 pm #436117The reason there will be no new DLC for Wii is because the Nintendo shut down online support for it last yearI dunno, man. Redownloads are still allowed and it might still be possible to add points too. Plus, online play still works I think, and the Amplitude kickstarter message still shows up.
January 12, 2015 at 9:57 pm #436119I am really shocked. This is completely unexpected and awesome!
Buying all three, even though I really don’t know them.
January 12, 2015 at 9:57 pm #436120I wouldlike these on Wii cuz, Wii have the more boreness songs…
January 12, 2015 at 10:23 pm #436122They announced during their live stream they are not going to do weekly content but “have some tricks up their sleeves”

January 12, 2015 at 10:26 pm #436123THEY DIDN’T AUTHOR THE KEYS FOR THE FOO FIGHTERS SONG? LIKE.. …. why.. even… they had the stems and.. they’re basically friends with benefits with Dave Grohl? like… UGH.. why?
January 12, 2015 at 10:32 pm #436125Of course they didn’t chart the keys; Espher has to have SOMETHING to do ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif” />
