February 20, 2015 at 10:41 pm #438957Blitz was the only music game I could ever get high leaderboard scores on, that is, until they fixed the glitches.
Blitz was the only game that…who am I kidding? I don’t think I played more than two songs on it.
February 20, 2015 at 10:44 pm #438959The setlist wasn’t great, but I’m thankful that it got two of my friends who didn’t really give a shit about plastic instruments into rhythm gaming for a while.

February 21, 2015 at 12:16 am #438967Was a great game, but I do wish they hadn’t tied it to the social aspect, b/c the whole ‘grind for coins’ thing is a pain in the ass.
February 21, 2015 at 12:20 am #438968Was a great game, but I do wish they hadn’t tied it to the social aspect, b/c the whole ‘grind for coins’ thing is a pain in the ass.I was lucky enough to have played the game within the first few weeks, before they “fixed” the coin system, because before then you got a buttload of coins for every song, so I’m sort of loaded in virtual Blitz cash.
February 21, 2015 at 12:34 am #438969The idea was great, the execution was poor. That’s why I haven’t played it since and I think it’s only worth it for the track pack.
Quickly disappointed by both the coin system and peculiar power ups.1. Why am I forced to play songs without powerups just to play songs with powerups on a game a payed money for. I feel like I’m getting ripped off by missing features of the game. It doesn’t cost real money, though, so not rage inducing.
2. To get any decent high score a certain set of powerups need to be used. Only the powerups give you mega points and not actually hitting the notes in the game.
3. Blitz mode doesn’t scale with multipliers so it quickly becomes useless and gets me a bit disoriented when it is constantly shifting in and out of a hyperspeed mode.
4. Some sections in songs are not even possible to max out multipliers. Very annoying when constantly switching between instruments to just fail anyways.
Good thing I went with buying it just for the songs. The game was just extra.
Played it for like 3-4 hours and then never played it since.
February 23, 2015 at 1:20 am #439086Anybody notice how the two new dlc songs deal with the issue of rebirth and going back to your roots. Hint hint rock band 4.
February 23, 2015 at 1:06 pm #439106Yeah, a hypothesis is that one of the next songs will be Been Away Too Long by Soundgarden, from King Animal. If they really want to reflect their attitudes/creative energy towards DLC, they can release Hollow by Alice In Chains ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_cheeky.001.gif” />
February 23, 2015 at 3:41 pm #439113I’ll be at PAX East, the Harmonix booth will be my first stop! I’ll post a pic of the pin ASAP on Friday morning. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif” />
February 23, 2015 at 3:47 pm #439115Don’t forget to go around saying *cough* customs *cough* c3 *cough* pink floyd *cough* led zepp *cough* dream theater *cough* customs *cough*.
Then proceed to get some medicine for your cough, it sounds pretty bad.
February 24, 2015 at 2:06 am #439148Harmonix 2015 DLC Pack 03
Mark Morrison – “Return of the Mack”
Erasure – “Always”
Whitney Houston – “Like I Never Left”
Obligatory vaguely-related title, throwback track, and right-artist-wrong-song pick. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif”>
February 24, 2015 at 9:57 am #439166I just can’t believe there isn’t a Fall Out Boy song titled “We’re working on a new game, we’ve been on hiatus too long” they can release.
February 24, 2015 at 12:33 pm #439174“This Is A New Song That We Just Released We Think It’s Pretty Cool, But The Name Is Too Long It Should Be Shortened” by Fall Out Boy
February 24, 2015 at 1:14 pm #439176Those sound more like Panic! at the Disco song titles, tbh.
