I recently starting working on a custom with bass, guitar, vox and drums all working properly, everyone’s animations were perfect.

 

So I’m going back and working on camera angles and lights and what not when out of no where I notice that the guitarist’s left hand wont leave the bottom of the neck during the entire song. A few tests ago he was up and down the whole time but now he’s stuck..

 

The only “map” text event that I have set is on the bass for picking. No other text events are in the guitar track other than [play]

 

If anyone has any idea wtf I did wrong it would be much appreciated.

Okay I apologize. As I expected I’m retarded… When duplicating the MIDI notes down from expert thru easy I went one key too far down to “Left Hand Highest”

Because to be honest I haven’t dove into figuring out how CAT works. It sounds great but I’ve been using the little brain power I have to chart and author everything I can as accurately as possible. I do plan on using it though.

I have a question about that as well as my bass/guitarist is not strumming at all with the right hand….. I’m only charting Keys but i did put a strumming rhythm pattern in the bass track under EXPERT Blue (Midi 99) only on that note. I only want to get the bass to strum right but he isn’t doing anything but dancing and waving his/her arms. Everyone else is animating correctly. Please help!

I just realized something…… When you are playing pro keys is the guitarist playing with you or is it the bass player?

Usually the guitarist. I believe the bass player only shows up with keys if the song doesn’t have guitar.

so i’m guessing you can’t have all three on stage then? keyboardist, guitar, and bass player?

No. If you try to pick those three, the game forces you into “all instruments mode” and then renders the drummer anyway.
