I tried Jet – Rollover DJ. I have some feedback

 

1. The band name is uppercase instead of sentence case.

2. in the middle of the song there is a YEAH lyric that has a hash infront of the lyric and appears on screen ie #Yeah!

3. the last Yeah could be changed to a talkie, by this stage it’s better to scream the yeahs than sing on pitch.

4. the album art does not match the other Jet tracks, maybe get it from the C3 album art folder here and the forum topic

4. This is rather debatable. The album art to all intents and purposes IS the same, granted it is NOT identical though. Is it that big a deal ? Personally, I dont think so.

It’s been a while ….

 

Here’s a great song by a great band. For all you drummers out there… this should prove if you have ‘it’ or not… I hate to say it…. -but until I master the art of unintentionally NOT throwing my sticks across the room when things get busy… sadly, I’m not one of them

I like yourself shelled out a lot of $ on a E Drum kit. Alexis DM10 set just to play RB3. 

My wife thought I was crazy!    But once she heard the difference in my drumming she was all on board with them.

Thanks for the appreciation… will look into the Slash song (but no guarantees at this time) .. always keen to hear new stuff.

 

I actually have an ION kit that I have modded. I got an electrician to build me a gizmo to allow me to attach a proper kick pedal to a standard ION drum pad mounted on a a stand that I made at work. The kick pedal uses a reed switch on the underside of the pedal to  trigger (so hitting the pad itself registers no signal). So much better than the standard Rock Band pedal. Makes such a difference to my play.

 

I also got him to incorporate a reed switch on the crappy Rockband pedal that I now use as a High Hat.

The electronics in the gizmo also switches the signal from the YELLOW cymbal (closed) – to the BLUE cymbal (open) depending upon the closed/open state of the footpedal – much like a real hi-hat. 

Cost me a few quid to do, but well worth the effort. Was thinking of getting a few more boxes built if anyone is interested in moddding their ION kits to a similar level…

Awesome selection of songs on here! Any chance you could go back to World on Fire and take a look at the guitar and bass tracks, there seem to be some pretty serious lack of notes that should be there. Just offering some helpful criticism on a much desired song! Keep up the awesome work on your charting!
