June 30, 2015 at 7:45 pm #449247Well, its been some time in the construction only because the guitar slides and noise/speaker feedback used in parts of the song – I have no idea how to author properly. To that end, the fancy slides are omitted and the eagle eyed among you may spot some inconsistencies in the guitar parts near to the end. That said, this is the most challenging guitar and bass work I have authored so far, the HO-POs required at Expert level throughout this track are the stuff of a true Rockband Guitar legend, (which I am not!)
Hope you enjoy. As always, any suggestions for refinement are welcomed.
June 30, 2015 at 7:58 pm #449248July 2, 2015 at 10:06 am #449326It looks like you were beat to the punch on this one:Aw….crap .. he posted it 2 days before me….! his guitar plays better too… ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_frown.gif” />
Note to self… search forum before planning new projects..!
Thanks for the heads-up
July 2, 2015 at 8:51 pm #449348I am currently working on a track which I must confess is possibly my personal favourite indie/alternative rock track of the early 90s. A somewhat cleaner image before their split and this track taken from their last studio album. I am guessing many wont have heard of the UK band The Wonderstuff , their introduction to the US market didnt quite go to plan…. they split soon after… but Hush is my favourite track from the ‘Construction for the Modern Idiot’ album.. and that is what I am doing next… supporters of my other tracks may want to bookmark this page.. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_cheeky.001.gif” />
In my humble opinion, this drum track a testament to the ability of the late Martin Gilks….
July 9, 2015 at 4:28 pm #449893hey Guido love your customs. Is there any chances on congregation you could add a kick pedal on the double crash after you play the fill around the kit if it hasn’t been done already?

Is there any chances on congregation you could add a kick pedal on the double crash after you play the fill around the kit if it hasn’t been done already? Can you be a little more specific where I need to be looking… if I can find it – sure… I will add it in if its true to the original…
July 10, 2015 at 11:37 pm #449987Of course, this track is a personal favourite . It has all the elements of a fantastic indie rock track and reminds me of my days at University at Nottingham Trent back in the 90’s.
A highly pleasing drum riff that will take a little getting used to with great melody for would-be vocalists and a challenging bass and guitar track. What more could you want! Download it – I’m sure you wont be disappointed.

sorry i’m not the most musically inclined person, but it’s the double crash after the fill that’s repeated over and over in the game. It’s at the 22 second mark, 1:05 mark, 1:12 mark, 1:18 mark, 2:09 mark, 2:15 mark, 2:21 mark, 2:27 mark, 2:34 mark, 4:25 mark, 4:30 mark, 4:56 mark. It’s the double crash.
I just noticed that i featured it in customs of the week episode i did here. If you go to the 4:58 mark you’ll what i am talking about. Notice the double crash at the end of the fill is just two crashes with no bass drum? Bass drum should be played on every single double crash.
July 14, 2015 at 10:05 pm #450323Holy Shit Guido ! ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
