      Hello everyone,

As some of you know, I’ve been meaning to start a Gojira project for a while. Well the time has finally come, and I thought that the best way to kick this off would be to release their critically acclaimed masterpiece, “From Mars to Sirius”, which was released in 2005 and redefined progressive metal as a whole. I’m very excited to begin working on it, as it’s one of my favorite albums of all time.

I’m planning to release this in December. I’ve asked Sideshow if I can use his converted charts of Backbone, Heaviest Matter, and Flying Whales, but even with those partially done I’ve still got a lot of work to do to complete the album. If anyone would like to contribute, please message me on Discord or let me know in this thread!

      1. Ocean Planet – tempo map completed, drums in progress (BraxtonThePorcupine)

      2. Backbone – drum chart by Sideshow

      3. From the Sky – tempo map done

      4. Unicorn – instruments done, still needs venue

      5. Where Dragons Dwell – tempo map done

      6. The Heaviest Matter of the Universe – guitar/drum chart by Sideshow

      7. Flying Whales – guitar/drum chart by Sideshow

      8. In the Wilderness – still needs tempo map

      9. World to Come – still needs tempo map

10/11. From Mars/To Sirius – still needs tempo map

      12. Global Warming – still needs tempo map

I will have tempo maps of everything done within the next 3 to 4 days. I also have lyric text files (with syllables separated) for all the songs, so vocals shouldn’t take too long to complete (many will be non-pitched). I am especially looking for those skilled in drum authoring, as I’d like those parts to be as accurate as possible. Mario Duplantier is one beast of a drummer! BraxtonThePorcupine has volunteered to do all the drum parts, so I just need guitar, bass, and vocals charters! And venues too, if anyone would be kind enough.

I also want to note that I’m using a FLAC rip of the album, so the sound quality will be at its absolute best.
