Featuring pksage and myself (saying very little, and excited to get back down to my setup and continue blowing out my voice).
February 1, 2015 at 6:38 am #437508Watching…Jesus Christ this is long.
Can we get that slideshow posted?
Edits as I watch:
Did pksage just say customs were discovered in 2013? I’m pretty sure I was doing customs in 2011, and that was already old news by then
Poor Wii users, they don’t get a mention.
February 1, 2015 at 6:53 am #437509RBN had more of a problem with overexposure of Metalcore than Death Metal really, which I can confirm us Death Metal fans weren’t happy about either, but even so I don’t see why it was necessary to take a jab at music taste like that. Not everybody makes customs just for the party game value, in fact it have actually helped me practice my vocal skills both clean and growl and I am not sure I like the idea of my learning experience with the game is to be considered something lesser than drunken singalongs when they are two completely different experiences and both equally fulfilling in their own way. It’s a flexible game with many ways to enjoy it for different people
February 1, 2015 at 10:34 am #437510Would have came if I wasn’t so far away. You know that one place you’ve never heard of and didn’t even know it existed on the globe? Yea I live there.
Also a 1hour+ event and you don’t have the templates to show? ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_cheeky.001.gif” />
I wished more people would have attended but I think Game Grumps was going on at the same time. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_frown.gif” />
Getting bands to make their own stuff would be awesome but any band that signs with a record label is going to be under major tight conditions themselves.
The mic’s were soooooooo loud.
So much negativity coming from me but what good is there left to say? I’ve already sacrificed several inanimate objects in the name of the C3 Author Gods.
February 1, 2015 at 10:42 am #437511Ah, bums. Wish I’d known this panel was happening – I was at MAGFest with the Retroware lot!

No I just have heard a lot of people say they enjoy the game for it’s “drunken singalong” factor (at least over here every single party involves heavy drinking though so might be cultural differences I guess)

It was also nice meeting up with some regulars from previous years/other conventions, especially since they know what they’re doing and can actually harmonize.
MAGFest tends to have a heavy partying atmosphere, which I don’t partake in, but try to tolerate. I’d much rather hang out with sober people pushing themselves to put on a good show or challenge themselves, but you take the good with the annoying.
Also, possibly-drunken singalongs happened a LOT. It was like the crowd vocals from older songs, except MUCH MUCH LOUDER.

February 2, 2015 at 7:31 am #437564Also managed to show up in the Best Friends Zaibatsu MAGFest video. Props to Convour for the song (and everyone else who makes customs).

(unless you’re one of the other folks playing, of course). That’s pretty cool, customs getting a bit of “mainstream” exposure (at least I think Best Friends Play is a popular series).

Nope, I’m the guy in the black cadet cap. I used executive cutsies so Matt could get the footage while he was hanging around there, and the other guys joined in. I’m on the left below.
