January 30, 2014 at 5:17 pm #413168I’ve found in my experience with the LIVE Track Pack that it’s not really fun to sing Brian Johnson songs. Either you match his voice and screw up the pitches, or match his pitch and it sounds dumb cause you have to sing like a normal person.
You’re not the only one. I used to sing the Live pack for high scores, but like you said it sounds so dumb. I now sing them as close to Johnson as I can, putting some balls into it, and it is so much better. Personally, I’d be happy if you just put in some simple unpitched talkies for the Johnson songs. Having talkies would at least give us something to sing along with and is better than nothing.
+1 for this….I rather have talkies than nothing at all. Of course, they are your customs and I am always thankful for everything you (and everyone else) put out. Vocals or no vocals. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />

The way you have been addressing authors of all kind of experience and output since the first day you posted is truly commendable. Know that it is really appreciated.

Thanks, Farottone! I figure it’s the least I can do. What you and the rest of the authors do is incredible and have brought me and many others countless hours of joy playing all of your great customs. I really can’t thank you and everyone else enough for all your hard work. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
January 31, 2014 at 6:38 am #413207Just a quick note, there were some minor chart inaccuracies I just noticed in Stiff Upper Lip (v2). The fixes have been made and you just need to overwrite the existing con. Sorry for that. I will try to get out a talkie-fied version of C.O.D. as soon as I can!
January 31, 2014 at 6:42 pm #413226That’s right C.O.D. – Customs on Demand!
Tired of having you and two friends singing ♫ Ceeeeeee Oh Deee ♫ without it getting scored? Worry no more!
I also modified one of the drum fills that I goofed on. It should play more naturally now.
Edit: If you downloaded this prior to this edit, dryvox wasn’t included. It has been updated.
January 31, 2014 at 7:51 pm #413230Nice work funkydunkleman. Will be playing all these tonight at the RB party for sure.
Edit: IMO talkie vocals are much better than no vocals at all. So keep them coming. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif” /> If someone really wants to they can fix them up later.
January 31, 2014 at 8:00 pm #413231Are you ready for some customs!?
Just in time for Super Bowl weekend, one of the most memorable sports related theme songs ever!
.
Awhile back, I knew I wanted to do something football related to commemorate Super Bowl XLVIII, and what better than this?
Drums are pretty fun I must say. Keys plays a mix of piano and horns, guitar plays horns as well. Bass plays bass.
Nobody better complain about lack of vocals this time!
All difficulties, drum animations, and practice sessions included.
Considering this track took about 2 1/2 hours of work to complete, I’ll consider it a success. Enjoy!
January 31, 2014 at 8:34 pm #413235Great idea making the Monday Night Football theme.

Looking forward to doing my best Brian Johnson impression on these two before the Super Bowl on Sunday. Thanks for adding the vocals.
February 1, 2014 at 12:09 am #413252Thanks for the Monday Night Football theme! Perfect for this weekend. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
February 2, 2014 at 10:51 pm #413343One more before the big game!
There are some actual pitches in this one! I wasn’t even planning on doing it, but the backup vocals were insanely easy to chart. I tested them and I think I nailed ’em. Still, all Brian’s parts are talkies. I didn’t do rhythm guitar because it’s not really audible in the song and it’s fairly boring. I had a little trouble with the bassline. It is really drowned out in the mix, so a lot of it is me winging it, but it still feels right to play.
A big thanks to oscarj08 for showing me his midi tracks for guitar and drums. It really gave me a big jump start on this. It will definitely make for a lot more AC/DC from me in the future, but I’ll have a go at other things too.
Enjoy the track and enjoy the game!
February 4, 2014 at 4:49 pm #413453Thank you for all these great songs. I dig it. I’ve enjoyed all of them.
