The vocals on Don’t go Away are kinda messed up, some incorrect pitches and some insanely long phrases making it impossible to Gold Star. I’m gonna fix it up and post it here for anyone who wants a better cut vocal track. Not to poop on your work, you are doing an awesome job so far, but vocals are kinda an OCD thing for me.

Since that’s another instance of someone getting a weird result with my sond id, I went and renamed all my files with unique titles. Hopefully this cures the problem.

Damn. I can’t say I tested the pitches as well as I should have. I also was unsure of how to split up the phrases. I sang it with a full band over the weekend and it felt fine, but I guess I wasn’t really analyzing the vox chart. Thanks for patching it up.

Yeah I mean it doesn’t suck by any means, but I’m super particular with vocals, unfortunately lol

I just finished upgrading my first song. You’ll need to delete your existing copy.

 

 

It now has been split into harmonies. They don’t overlap for 99% of the song, but Eminem and Polina are now separate parts. I also fixed the lyrics so that multi-syllable words are now broken up. I also tightened some words that weren’t synched right. Overdrive was a little off in some parts, that’s been fixed. I also duplicated the guitar track over to bass, so if you have a full party, one more person can be involved. I did encounter one vocal glitch that could not be diagnosed, but I found a workaround that doesn’t effect the flow of the song. Enjoy.

Make sure you delete the version you had with just drums. Delete the song cache and let it rebuild with the version which has all instruments. The song ID’s might be the same

Then you should go fix the vocals on your Double Vision custom then.

That was a Guitar Hero convert not my own, so blame neversoft not me haha do they suck? don’t think I played vocals on that one since converting.

 

Also here is the updated Vocals for Don’t Go Away. I also added tons of overdrives as per usual with my customs. Again the original vocal track was ok, but just had too long phrases and too little overdrives, and also the slight changes in pitch and the end or the beginning of a word have been fixed and changed. Also, I did try and change the SongID, but you might want to delete the other Don’t Go Away, to make sure this one is the one that shows up, if you indeed want it. But again the original by Funky was pretty solid anyways, and certainly playable.
