January 19, 2014 at 4:59 pm #412493I agree more bond would be awesome. Even though we have the GNR cover of Live and Let Die it would be great to have the original by Paul Mcartney.
It wasn’t my favorite theme ever, but I’m still bummed no one has converted Another Way to Die from GH.
January 19, 2014 at 5:36 pm #412494With pro keys! i’d love that song ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_emot-3.gif” />
January 19, 2014 at 5:59 pm #412500And pro keys chords? On OHMSS?
Still talking about Billie Jean.
And after the trouble I’ve had with this song I’m about to release, I’m definitely done with vocals for awhile. I know most people won’t like it, but it’s just not worth it when it takes over half my time authoring to get that sorted. I won’t be doing as well known songs anyway.
I think the way they came out in Billie Jean, if you use (and can find) a music MIDI, you can achieve that kind of chart in probably no more than a couple of hours. If it’s taking you more, consider, instead of dropping vocals, using a pre-made MIDI.

I know I threw them in the midi, but they’re not playable in game. I copied them from an existing midi. I just decided not to include them and they were never tested.

Thing is, I did use a music midi. The pitches were mostly right, but the lyric timing was way off. I tried a good deal to align them, but I’m sure there’s frequent hiccups here and there. I sang it several times to test it out, and there was nothing I noticed that was game breaking.
Also, it’s Michael. No phrase of his is ever lazy or basic. To properly chart him 100%, it would take an incredible amount of time and talent. Maybe I bit off more than I could chew with that one, but I just wanted it in the game badly. I still think the instrument charts were gold though.
The song I’m doing now, I used a pre-made midi and thought it would make it a breeze for vox, but I’m finding most of it was off, and it’s making it a headache. Should have it wrapped up today though.
Also, is there a way to silence the high pitch of the phrase markers without temporarily deleting them?

True that. It wouldnt require a huge amount of work since the multitrack audio and basic GH charts are already available.
January 19, 2014 at 11:47 pm #412521FYI, not sure if others are having trouble but “Hotel Yorba” doesn’t show up in my game at all. Injected it with Party Buffalo (like all my other customs) but it’s a no-show. Also added a few others at the same time without any issue. Also tried deleting, re-downloading, re-injecting but nothing seems to work.

I had a problem with my flash drive awhile back, where it wouldn’t let me inject anything, so I transferred the data to the 360 HDD and then reformatted the flash. But you said you can inject other stuff, so that’s probably not the case. If more people are having this issue I’ll re-upload another copy.
January 20, 2014 at 1:10 am #412526It’s here! Did no one get my hint?
Sung by a notable artist who is still active today. R. KellyProbably was most known from a film.
Also, the star of this film was not known as an actor. Michael Jordan
Climbed to #2 on the Hot 100.
Earned nearly $100 million in the US.
Joined many all time greats together for cameos. Bill Murray, numerous NBA stars
Also on Rolling Stone’s greatest 500 songs of all time. #406
Multiple Grammy Award winning.
It was right there the whole time!
If you grew up in the nineties like me, it would have been pretty difficult to not remember this film. It’s
website is still one of the coolest around!
Lace ’em up and take the court for this track which features three simple tracks (guitar, drums, keys) and a very impressive performance by R. Kelly. This the most time consuming vocal track I’ve ever done, and I think I got just about all of it right. I’ve scored 100% multiple times on hard, so it does the job. I can’t speak for expert since my mic isn’t great and neither am I.
Sorry it wasn’t Prince as some here has hoped, but still a pop classic nonetheless. I know I said I wasn’t doing anymore vocals, but I had to make one last hurrah. Consider this a semi-retirement. My tracks for the foreseeable future will be a little more obscure and mainly instrument driven. Think classic rock B-sides and random instrumentals.
I hope you enjoy this one!

Ok, I finally got it to show up (yay). I renamed it as you suggested (simply added “_rb3con” to the file name), and I added it along with a different batch of songs and it worked. I have no idea what the problem was before since others had no issues, but I’m just glad it works. Big fan of this song, thanks again.
January 20, 2014 at 8:33 am #412546COME ON AND SLAM AND WELCOME TO THE JAM!

Thank you sir, this is beyond awesome.

Haha no hard feelings, I will happily download and play some R. Kelly. Thanks for your work!
January 21, 2014 at 11:42 pm #412673New song time!
This is my first song where I skipped over the vocals. Sorry to those who won’t download it because of that, but that was what I wanted to do.
I at least picked a song where the singer isn’t the star of the track. It’s the fantastic guitar work of the legendary Angus Young. This marks the second full instrument AC/DC track released here since farottone graciously did It’s a Long Way to the Top (If You Wanna Rock and Roll) back in July. (Fun fact: that song was what inspired me to get into the customs game and join this site)
Guitar is especially fun. This was my first time tackling a solo, and I think I made a very enjoyable chart. Bass is fairly boring, as is usual with the band. Drums are fairly standard. I know a lot of people find AC/DC drums boring, but I’ve always enjoyed the energetic style most of them have. Also this is my first time doing rhythm guitar. This was especially tough since Malcolm is so quiet in the mix, but I think I made something that feels unique compared to Angus and also plays naturally.
Also, this was my first time experimenting with venue animations. I wanted to showcase the guitarist more. It’s certainly amateurish, but it’s something different. I also included all difficulties.
I hope you all enjoy it. This should be the first of several AC/DC tracks from me, and they will span their entire career. I don’t know if that’s what I’m doing next, but it will hopefully be soon.
