I never released an English language version. Maybe you saw it somewhere else?
March 1, 2015 at 8:09 pm #439562man oh man funkydunkleman……..I just want to say how much I love your customs with AC/DC.
Most of the songs are new to me, but a lot of them are really fantastic!
Never knew how “clean” they played, impressive. The voice of the singer is a bit strange, but the melody’s are great.
Thanks for the fun with these!
March 14, 2015 at 9:56 pm #440656Just letting you know that I’ve turned your rough cut of “Cold Hard Bitch” into a full band custom. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
March 15, 2015 at 4:46 pm #440709OP updated showing all of my recent activity *tumbleweeds* – also ShadowOfTheServer‘s upgrade on my rough cut of Cold Hard Bitch. You can view it in his thread here.
I promise you more AC/DC is on the way. Sooner rather than later. Also am working on some other stuff, but don’t expect it for awhile.
March 20, 2015 at 4:38 pm #441059The drought has been broken.
I bring you three more Bon Scott led tracks, from three different albums.
First, She’s Got Balls from their debut album, 1975’s High Voltage. It’s the first time this album is making an appearance in the game. This was AC/DC at their most raw. Really didn’t have their true sound figured out yet, but you can still hear the beginnings of it here. Also features Peter Clack on drums, before he was replaced by Phil Rudd shorty after the album was recorded, so the drums are notably different than what you’re used to with this band. Angus still nails a sweet solo though.
Second up is High Voltage, but it’s not from the album High Voltage. I’m still not sure how that makes sense. The live version was on the LIVE disc, but now you can finally play the original, much shorter version. This probably has the most variation between lead and rhythm guitar I’ve ever done. This is a track really worth playing both. I don’t think Ang and Mal ever play the same thing at any point during the song.
And lastly, we finally have a second track from Let There Be Rock. Featuring the toughest guitar in the pack, Overdose. All around good song. Bon’s lyrics are solid, Phil lays down a quality drum track, and the soon to be replaced Mark Evans does a quality bassline.
You can download all three as a pack here.
That’s all for now. I wish I could be outputting more, but the combination of starting a new job last month and running out of classic ‘must have’ AC/DC have me slowing down production by quite a bit. But I am no way stopping any time soon. I hope you enjoy these tracks.
March 20, 2015 at 5:04 pm #441061I fuckin love your releases.
March 20, 2015 at 7:18 pm #441069Merci Mister.
March 20, 2015 at 8:01 pm #441073I fuckin love your releases.I’ll second that!!
Every jam session we have includes at least one of your ACDC tunes. Look forward to trying these out.
March 20, 2015 at 9:05 pm #441079Aw shit thanks for the comments guys… but I just realized Overdose doesn’t have the overdrives finished. I’ll get a fix up shortly.
EDIT: Fix is up. Re-download required.
March 20, 2015 at 10:18 pm #441082ALSO fellow user twister9150 brought it to my attention that my version of You Shook Me All Night Long was severely lacking in overdrives. (What is up with me and overdrives today?)
Turns out, bass, lead & rhythm guitar never got finished and are impossible to gold star. How I have not noticed this playing it for the last 3 months I have no clue. Anyways, I’ve completed the ODs properly, and I have the updated files available in various forms.
Apologies for the mistake.
April 7, 2015 at 2:20 pm #442209Dont forget the “Volts” album.. BUT I think you should look into a few “RHINO BUCKET” songs.. like “Welcome to Hell” and imagine it as more Bon Scott!
April 10, 2015 at 5:33 pm #442461Look! It’s the rare non-AC/DC release!
I was going to just make this a rough cut, but since the trend nowadays is to include even unpitched vocals, I thought what the hell and tacked some on, as well as making proper practice sessions and the other usual adjustments.
I’ve been on a delay lately, as I upgraded my Windows a few weeks ago and somehow lost all of my Reaper settings in the process. Shortcuts, plugins, settings all had to be re-done, so you should see the pace pick up a little from here on.
April 10, 2015 at 6:00 pm #442463Thanks for more Modest Mouse!!
April 10, 2015 at 10:27 pm #442477Thanks so much for adding the unpitched vocals. Wish you could go back in time and do it for would you fight for my love.
