I would have done something from them more ‘America’ themed, but I don’t believe anything from these British & Australian legends is very “patriotic”. It does celebrate drinking though, and what’s more American that that?

 

Over the years, I’ve warmed up more and more the Ballbreaker album. It isn’t a masterpiece by any means, but it does have some nice tracks. This, in my opinion, is one of them.

I made some big improvements to one of my first AC/DC customs.

 

• Includes better audio track
• Massively improved lyric placement
• Lipsync re-done
• Vocal overdrive re-done
• Practice sections now properly labelled
• Tightened up some note placements on guitar chart
• Minor fixes to drums
• Minor tempo map adjustments

 

 

I know I said awhile back that my older AC/DC songs have been “finalized”, but this was one I was wrong about. The lyric placement was laughably bad and it needed to be fixed. I’m sorry for having to release updates so often for some of my tracks, but sometimes my eagerness to get my songs out quickly gets the best of me. Thankfully I’m a lot better at it now compared to earlier in the year. Whenever I do another update to something else in my library, I’ll try my best to make sure it will be the last.

Here’s the least requested track of all time!

 

 

Every time I finish an Oasis song, I pledge to never try one again, but apparently I suffer from short term memory loss. I tried my best with this one. The vocals are taken from a midi. I cleaned them up a little, but I’m sure they’re far from perfect. But as always, they get the job done.

 

Guitar is a bit of a trip. It spends half the song being pretty buried in the mix, but I tried to decipher it as best I could. Has a nice solo though. Bass has the same problem, but I don’t put as much time into it.

 

Drums are where it’s at. It never gets monotonous. Lots of fills to keep everyone happy.

 

Although I’ve said this before, I’m done with Oasis for awhile. Not having multi-tracks for these songs makes transcribing the notes hella frustrating. I know a lot of people want Champagne Supernova, but I’m not a huge fan of that song.

 

I may end up doing one of their tracks as a G/D Rough Cut, but I have no plans for another FB venture.
