February 18, 2014 at 11:35 pm #414359I still cant get American Girl to work. I thought maybe the song ID was conflicting with some other song in my library but I am unable to open the songs DTA up with C3 Con Tools. Could just be me though.
I just tried to edit the .dta from the dropbox download and it worked for me. I really wish I knew why that’s happening to you. Normally the response is “delete song cache” but you haven’t even gotten that far.I renamed the file and made the host mediafire. Maybe that fixes it for you.
February 18, 2014 at 11:41 pm #414360Thanks for your concern. Probably nothing wrong with your custom, it was just conflicting with some other song in my 1800 song library.

February 23, 2014 at 7:00 pm #414611Here is a first pass at PRO Guitar/Bass for American Girl… Nyx is thinking about adding the harmonies also…
February 25, 2014 at 6:53 am #414702I finally had a chance to run through the 4 AC/DC Highway to Hell tracks on prodrums. They were awesome. I noticed no issues other than the fact that the threshold for getting gold on all of them is pretty freakin’ high!
Keep up the good work, Funky!
March 1, 2014 at 3:13 am #414887Just wanted to give a quick update.
Touch Too Much had an extra note at the end of the song on expert guitar. I don’t know how that got there, but it’s fixed now.
Also American Girl had an issue where the notes weren’t synching with the charts towards the end of the song. I think this glitch is a result from converting GH tracks (?) The same thing happened with Shock of the Lightning and some tinkering and a run through the midi cleaner seemed to do the trick. Did it with this one too, but haven’t had a chance to test it.
I’ve noticed a few flubs in a number of my tracks lately, and I plan on doing a sweep through all of them and cleaning up the most noticible mistakes at some point.
I really wish I could get new songs out there, but I’m working 60 hours a week right now at a new job. But that should start coming down in the next 2-3 weeks. It’s been hard to find energy to author. I have an AC/DC track I’ve been working on for the last 13 days. A bit frustrating considering I usually crank out AC/DC every 13 hours it seems. I’d say it’s about 90% done right now. Projecting Sunday for a release.
Keep on rockin’!
March 1, 2014 at 1:00 pm #414901Thanks for the update! Looking forward to new songs from you, whenever you are able to get to them.
March 1, 2014 at 11:52 pm #414923Hey, no worries about taking your time. You have consistantly put out almost C3 quality work on an almost daily basis for a month+! We all appreciate your hard work and look forward to whatever you put out, whenever you get it out.
March 2, 2014 at 6:22 am #414943Thanks for the kind words.
Some more updates:
Shot Down in Flames
– Minor vocal/lyric fixes
– Added more overdrive sections for Bass/Drums
The Shock of the Lightning
– Fixed Guitar Solo to end at the right time
– Change GH lyric style to fit RB standards and have hyphenated words show up properly in game
Also, American Girl still has issues with notes synching. Will try to diagnose that tomorrow.
March 2, 2014 at 2:54 pm #414947Funky, you rock. Thanks for all you do. You do excellent work. That is a quite impressive group of tunes you have done. I look everyday to see if you’ve brought us more awesome. I quietly hope to see Bedlam in Belgium from Flick of the Switch. Thank you again. The OP looks great.
March 2, 2014 at 4:36 pm #414953It’s about damn time for a new song am I right!?
If you’ve seen the movie Beavis and Butt-head Do America, you may remember this from the soundtrack.
Another classic Angus riff. Bon is great on the mic. Everything just feels right in this song. It was the first AC/DC track that I really loved.
Now I must warn you, since the work on this track was so sporadic, there may be a hiccup here or there. I ran through the track a few times, but I might have overlooked something. If you notice an error, please post it in here. I’m confident enough to release it now however. I hope you enjoy it. Powerage was long overdue for an RB track, and I hope to fill out the album more as time goes on.
March 2, 2014 at 6:02 pm #414965Thanks Funky!
March 3, 2014 at 12:37 am #414977Awesome! Thanks for the new song, Funky!
March 3, 2014 at 2:22 am #414982Those hiccups I mentioned, caught one. No count-in. Whoops. Now fixed.
