I just saw this. Thank you so much for Dirty Laundry! I’ll bust this one out this Saturday at one of my all-too-rare Rock band parties.
February 6, 2014 at 1:11 am #413573I cant believe I never heard this Dirty Laundry songs before. I do know his other hit The Boys of Summer. Nice release.
February 6, 2014 at 11:25 pm #413637Oh you guys love Don Henley? Well there’s nothing better to follow it up with MORE AC/DC!
Guitar: Nothing out of the ordinary here. Some great Angus riffs to go with 3 solos.
Drums: Fast and energetic. Typical Phil Rudd, but oddly enough he doesn’t do any fills here.
Bass: Fast and boring. Typical Cliff Williams. Very tough to hear in the mix. Did my best.
Vocals: All talkies again. Included backing on the chorus.
This will be it for Brian tracks for a bit. And I’m saddened to say my future Bon Scott tracks will not have pitched vox. I’ve spent roughly 4 hours on trying to match pitches on the first one and I couldn’t even get past the 3rd line of the song without major mistakes. The way he sings makes it too difficult for me. If anyone has a Bon song they like (any song) and want to volunteer to pitch them, I’ll gladly do everything else on the track, but mine will be talkies. This doesn’t mean I will never attempt vocals from scratch again, but the late great Bon Scott is way too tough for me to start with.
Anyways, enjoy the song!
February 7, 2014 at 12:01 am #413639I’ve been waiting for this song for so long that i almost don’t care about pitched talkies! (Although i kinda do, but i’m gonna download it until such patch is added) thanks!
February 7, 2014 at 11:26 pm #413704Another quick release:
This is often thought of as the secondary James Bond theme. MrMet already did the main theme, but this one is great as well. It has been featured in 5 Bond films, but it was first used in 1963’s From Russia with Love.
Guitar: The lead horns. The prominent part of the track.
Bass: The rhythm horns. More chords, and notes overall.
Drums: A repetitive snare beat.
Vocals: None.
Enjoy!
February 8, 2014 at 1:54 am #413717More Bond? Thank you!
February 8, 2014 at 1:55 am #413719Another 007 Custom, awesome ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif” />. Any chance you could do the main instrumental theme for From Russia With Love as well not the vocal version
February 8, 2014 at 2:25 am #413720Another 007 Custom, awesome ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif” />. Any chance you could do the main instrumental theme for From Russia With Love as well not the vocal versionI’ll definitely do more Bond from time to time. Both main songs and pieces of the scores.

February 10, 2014 at 11:59 pm #413852Will be making a new post soon. Stay tuned.
February 11, 2014 at 12:16 am #413853I figured since I’m not pitching vocals for Bon Scott songs, which I’m sure disappoints a number of you, I’d try to make up for it by cranking out not one, not two, but three tracks! All from the Highway to Hell album.
Guitar: Pretty good Angus solo. Nothing too difficult.
Bass: Can get pretty exciting at times. Not a snoozer like many other tracks.
Drums: Pretty fun. A lot of crashes throughout.
Vocals: An AC/DC rarity, just Bon on this one.
Guitar: 2 solos. 1st one’s definite a challenge. 2nd one ends the song.
Bass: Not bad. Still pretty exciting for Cliff.
Drums: Fast and loud.
Vocals: Harmonies on the chorus. Some interesting riffing by Bon at the end.
Guitar: Much mellower than the previous two. Three solos. Third is a doozy.
Bass: Probably the least exciting of the three.
Drums: An occasional short fill.
Vocals: The most illustrative of the three in terms of lyrics. Harmonies come in on the choruses.
Oof. Now I need a rest.
February 11, 2014 at 12:35 am #413854YAY Shot Down in Flames I’m most excited to play, and even though I’d personally prefer pitched vocals, I know many people do not for AC/DC, so i’m fine with this, getting all 3!
February 11, 2014 at 1:08 am #413855You rock Funky.
February 11, 2014 at 4:07 am #413861Sexellent AC/DC tracks!
February 11, 2014 at 6:07 am #413866Anyone who downloaded Night Prowler already, there was a slight problem with the audio being out of sync. It has been fixed & updated. Sorry for the inconvenience.
