Frustrating experience trying to validate my account

I registered an account on here and never received the activation email.
I was still able to sign in but couldn’t do anything, and every time I tried to click the “re-send validation” link I got a password change request email incorrectly. Which did change my password but I still couldn’t do anything. I couldn’t start a topic in this board and I couldn’t easily find a way to contact anyone so I had to make another account.
Just wanted to make you guys aware of that. Sounds like a bug with the validation re-send process.
There is little to nothing we can do, it’s pre-built platform. Other people had this issue of not receiving the validation email but tracking the bug down would require time we don’t have. Hopefully whoever is having problems will try again with a new email.
