I know I already started a request topic here, but I figure this is different (and dangerous!) enough to warrant it’s own topic.
Anyways, I have a question: Would I be booed out of the forum if I requested some Lostprophets songs?
Wow. I wondered from the title what could possible be considered “forbidden,” but yeah, I hope no one takes you up on that. One of these days I need to go to the trouble of extracting the lego export pack so I can get that asshole off my hard drive (for anyone who doesn’t know what he did, google it, but not on a full stomach).

They sure as hell don’t need to know the details…I wish I could forget what I read in those court documents…
IMO, I wouldn’t see it as forbidden. A lot of musicians have done messed up things (as bad as he did, debatably), as long as you can separate that from the music. Or you’re not asking someone to chart BECAUSE of that.

Or you’re not asking someone to chart BECAUSE of that.I don’t know…I mean, we all know about the drugs, sex and rock ‘n roll musician life, but Watkins really took it to a new, insanely fucked up level. When I finished reading the court document released the day of his sentencing, I seriously wondered if he was even human. I mean, in the wrestling world, there’s Chris Benoit case, and while I don’t know which one of the two did the objectively worse thing, if I had to choose one of them to burn in hell for all eternity I know who I would choose (Hint: It’s not the canadian).
And yet, while I think of Watkins as a complete and absolute monster, and the rest of the band as offensively stupid (how the hell did they not notice there was something wrong?), I really like their music and still listen to it (although their music videos are still hard to stomach to me…at least Bring ‘Em Down features Watkins getting punched, but something like A Town Called Hipocrisy…no, just no).
If any more of a deal is made of this, I’m going to chart more Lostprophets for shits and giggles, and I don’t even like them.
