I am just finishing my latest effort .. Foo Fighters , Congregation and at the tail end / Brdige section of the song Where Dave Grohl starts screeching ‘Step into the light………..’ , drummer ‘Teeth’ seems to have some sort of fit and goes mad just before the final chorus breaks…

I am at a loss how to author this specific section of the song due to the relative complexity of the sequence….

Sure, I can stipulate a 5 lane drum fill for those users who can ‘fill in the blanks’…… But for those who don’t use this feature in game….. What to do…?

 

Would be grateful for so e suggestions specifically how to author this section … Or if anyone thinks they are able to author the sequence themselves.. I am quite happy to issue the project files thus far….(pm me if this is you..)

I don’t know the song but it doesn’t sound too complicated. Seems to be played on the floor tom and snare is all. In this live video you can see Taylor Hawkins play it – although the camera angle isn’t perfect

Agreed – it doesnt ‘appear’ too difficult when watching the video – but relying simply on what you hear on the audio there is a lot of ‘echo’ giving the impression of many, many hits….

 

Dont suppose you wanna try your hand at authoring the hits you see… ?
