Hi,

 

I´m new in this world of custom for Rockband. There´s many songs with multitrack that I´m intereseted to play on my PS3. I´ve tried with midi and ogg files (multitrack) from FoF Rockband songs, but no exit. Is it possible to remake FoF song Rockband and import them to PS3?.

You need to import the MIDI and OGG files into Reaper 4.22, then edit the MIDI to be within the charting rules of Rock Band http://pksage.com/rbndocs/index.php?title=Main_Page

 

Then you need to render each OGG sound file as a WAV file instead and put those and the MIDI into C3 Magma

 

It’s some work required so be sure to read up on the authoring documents and look at the forums during construction

If you mean, as I understand it, taking from the FoF forums commercially available songs that HMX released, this is absolutely not a topic of discussions here. If not, I’m curious to know what all those multitrack FoF customs are…

To recap: if a song has been released by Harmonix, buy the original and please do not ask for any link here. If a song has not been released by Harmonix, ask away.

I have a question like this one too.

I’m trying to author a song only the bass cuz Im a noob. Also it is a lounge song, cuz that one is easy and has an interesting bass line.

 

Made the tempo mapping and the bass and in the rb example screen it looks perfect.

Now Magma giving me multiple errors and one of the says I need a MIDI from that song. I don’t have it and I would be surprised if there is any.

Can’t I finish it or is there a way?

If you charted the bass in REAPER (which is completely unclear from “the rb example screen”), you need to File / Export the MIDI, and use that in Magma’s Game Data tab / MIDI.
