But i play a DLC and it works fine. The disc itself is a LITTLE scratched but nothing alarming. Is there a reason for this reaction?
This is a common problem. Either you have Title Update 5 installed, or you’re using a version of Rock Band 3 with Title Update 5 baked in. If it’s baked in, unfortunately you will not be able to play customs with that version of RB3. However, if you have TU5 as a separate file, downgrade to Title Update 4 and customs will work as expected. There is information elsewhere on the forums about how to get TU4. In fact, a search of the forums will reveal answers to lots of common problems and questions. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif” />
I got TU4 on my thumbdrive and looking into my Xbox HD I saw no TU 5 at all, just a bunch of downloaded songs. Also i have the EA labeled disc.
duplicate post. no need to phrase the question two different ways…
make sure your wifi on your xbox is turn off or try cleaning your disk
Every single custom erroring out with “dirty disc” means TU5 is sneaking in somewhere. You can tell for sure if the Mad Catz logo appears while the game is loading, even when you have an EA/MTV disc.

Install TU4 than turn off X-box live so it will work it’s annoying but it’s the only way to play them
