Whenever I load a song.ini file into Magma, I’m met with this error message:

Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately.

Value of 16000 is not valid for ‘Value’. ‘Value’ should be between ‘Minimum’ and ‘Maximum’. Parameter name: Value.

I think this might be related to a setting I changed when I was working on a file on one of my first uses of Magma, but I have no idea how to change it back or fix it.

    Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Rock Band doesn’t use ini files. The only thing that I know of that uses ini files is Phase Shift, and Magma doesn’t support Phase Shift.

Then it’s weird that Magma has the option for importing ini files if it doesn’t support them

Pardon the confusion. Like Alternity said, none of the Rock Band games use INI files. However, C3 Magma was coded to allow Phase Shift INI files to be imported for some quick filling in of the blanks when creating a new song for RB3.

Importing an INI works for me, but then I used an INI that was generated by C3 CON Tools’ Phase Shift converter to check. I suspect the INI you’re trying to use has a value somewhere that C3 Magma doesn’t like. If you post the INI somewhere, someone here maybe can take a look and see wha tthe problem is.
