“Could not find MIDI track authored for real_keys, possibly due to incorrect track name event”.
I disabled pro keys. How to fix?
July 9, 2014 at 3:38 pm #424323Have you unchecked the Keys audio track in Magma?
July 9, 2014 at 5:19 pm #424326Once I compiled the song with the keys but not pro keys. No errors, but now yes…
July 9, 2014 at 5:27 pm #424328You need to make sure you don’t have pro keys tracks in the MIDI, that you have disabled pro keys, and you have enabled auto-generate fake pro keys.
Also, it’s best if you copy/paste the entire log.
July 12, 2014 at 4:34 pm #424538Ok, If I click the “Build and audition” button the problem happens, but If I click “Build” one the problem does not happen… LOL
July 12, 2014 at 4:45 pm #424540That doesn’t make sense, but you shouldn’t be clicking Build and Audition anyways. Unless you’ve got TU5 installed on your Xbox and have an account and access to Audition Mode (very unlikely), AND you have the right settings in Magma: C3, don’t click that because you’re not going to be Auditioning a song. So why click it?
November 26, 2014 at 3:46 pm #433502Maybe someone can explain this one – I just ran into the same Magma error, for a custom with rhythm on keys, so disabling keys wouldn’t help. Instead, I clicked on Pro-Keys, got the error screen explaining that this would disable rhythm on keys, and asked if I really wanted to do this “Y,N?”. I said no, and then it compiled with no error.
Huh?
November 26, 2014 at 4:10 pm #433504To do rhythm on keys you need part keys in the midi. Nothing else. Then enable keys and disable pro keys. Enable fake pro keys and key animation. Magma should take care of the rest.

The Magma template is the same as another song from the same album, which worked with no problems.
November 26, 2014 at 5:26 pm #433507Post the midi and I’ll check it out.
November 26, 2014 at 7:20 pm #433510Thanks. I just ran it again in a new Magma pass, and now it works. No idea why it failed before, and no idea if turning on and off pro keys is a fix or a coincidental fix.
