For a new custom, everything looks fine in Reaper, but, on the x-box, the first note, which should be less than one measure, lasts several measures, and throws everything off. I’ve tried all sorts of things, including making a version with the expert notes only, and the first two notes single notes, not sustains. Still no good – the first single note becomes a long sustain. Even deleting the notes doesn’t help. The third note comes in way too late.

 

Any ideas?

In the tempo map, edit the marker at M3.1 and don’t set a Time signature change. Once you do that you will see all notes shifting ahead a measure: pull them back and you’re done.

Thanks. It worked – only had to stretch the second note by a 32nd.
