The song I’m currently working on is “TesseracT – Retrospect” and it only has one vocal part, put plenty of very hear-able echoes.
Is it acceptable to author echoes as HARM2 and HARM3?
I didn’t see anything in the RBN docs, so I’m asking here.
if the echoes sync with the music and are definitely audible, i’d say do it; i’ve done it before in that kind of situation. if it’s just lots of reverb, you probably shouldn’t.
If by echoes you mean the double tracking, I wouldn’t do it. It really sounds clearly a double tracking of the lead vocals and it’s not something you would realistically sing live, in example.
