Been a busy couple of weeks so not much has happened – I think the School of Rock tracks are a while away yet.
In the meantime, I’ve started work on a Shinedown 4-pack with ws45, which I’m contributing drum charts for.
July 25, 2013 at 9:47 pm #403493Shinedown tracks are now in playtesting – go check ’em out, they’re great. Just a couple of venue tracks to add and then they’re completely done (not including corrections).
Hit a bit of a roadblock with School of Rock, but will hopefully get back on track with that this weekend.
Also started the ball rolling on a “Music of Scotland” pack, to release this St Andrews Day (November 30th). Gonna have some Proclaimers, some Simple Minds, some Rod Stewart, and lots more. Check out the thread in the Collaborations forum.
August 20, 2013 at 9:42 pm #404863So, the Shinedown pack got released and it seems to have gone down well, so yay.
For the School of Rock 3-pack, Expert guitar and drum charts have been done for all of them, as well as an Expert Pro Keys chart for the title track. These are now with drummerrockband to add his parts whenever he has time.
So as of now, I’ve returned to “Raise Your Hands”. Here’s the current status:
Guitar – Expert 100% charted. Dat solo.
Drums – Expert 100% charted.
Bass – Expert, 40% charted. Very simple, although I’m not completely certain that the sheet music I’m using matches the audio.
Pro Keys – Expert, 80% charted, only missing the guitar solo section.
Everything else is uncharted. I’m hoping to have an Expert-only full-band version done by the weekend.
After that, I’m gonna try and hammer out “Always”, so that we have at least two Bon Jovi songs done. Then I’ll make a start on “Don’t You Forget About Me” and “I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles)” for the Scotland pack in November, and in the meantime contribute drum charts to the Elite Beat Agents pack.
So yeah, fun times ahead. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
August 20, 2013 at 10:55 pm #404871Remember that you still have an offer for a collaboration on Bed of Roses and Dry County. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif”>
August 25, 2013 at 9:47 pm #405107Okay, here we go:
Done so far: Everything except 5-Lane Keys charted on Expert. Drums and guitar charted on all difficulties. No animations, venue, or overdrive yet.
Just an RPP file, no CON yet. Not putting it into playtesting yet because it’s still missing bits, and I want to wait until I have a pack ready to go, but I know certain people have been waiting for it (Farottone ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif” />) so I thought I’d release an Expert only file for now. Let me know what you think!
September 2, 2013 at 8:33 pm #405555Great stuff! Can’t wait to see it in playtest. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif”> I would have done cymbals in a different way in some spots, let me know if you want input on that.
September 13, 2013 at 6:18 pm #406152Updates:
Elite Beat Agents collab – “Without a Fight” drums all charted, “I Was Born to Love You” expert drums 90% charted.
Music of Scotland pack – “Don’t You Forget About Me” audio edited to give it a proper ending.
Bon Jovi pack – “Raise Your Hands” lyrics added to the vocal/harmony parts, “Always” audio edited to give it a proper ending.
Also, slight change of plans. There are so many songs off of Keep the Faith that I want to do that I’m going to release them as an album-themed pack at a later date. So for now, my first Bon Jovi pack will consist of the following:
Raise Your Hands
Always
These Days
and one from New Jersey, either Born to Be My Baby or Blood on Blood.
Then there’ll be the Faith pack, which will contain the following:
I Believe
Keep the Faith
Dry County
Bed of Roses
In These Arms
plus possibly others, if I can find sheet music and/or MIDIs for them.
Think I might have to take a step back from collaborations once the current ones finish, otherwise I’ll never get these done.
September 13, 2013 at 6:29 pm #406153Keep the Faith
Dry County
Bed of Roses
As you know, I can gladly help on these.

Dry County
Bed of Roses
As you know, I can gladly help on these.
Thank you, I’ll keep that in mind. It won’t be for a while but I’ll drop you a line when the time comes. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />

December 12, 2013 at 10:31 pm #410599Time to update this I feel. Music of Scotland pack is out, did 500 Miles and Don’t You Forget About Me for that. Currently working on Always for the 12 Days pack, it’s currently in playtesting if you want to try it.
The main reason I’m updating this is that, after Always is released, I think I’m going to bow out of any future collaborations or date-specific packs. The circumstances of my work and life right now means that I have very little time to dedicate to custom-charting, and unfortunately that means that I am not always available for last-minute changes to charts, or I’m rushing to get charts finished for a particular date. This has been a serious problem for both the 12 Days and Scotland packs because I have pissed several people off by not having things ready for video-recording or sanity checks, resulting in mad rushes to get everything done on time. To anyone whom I have annoyed, particularly TrojanNemo, I sincerely apologise. I don’t mean to do that to you, I’ve just been so eager to contribute to this amazing site that I guess I’m biting off more than I can chew when it comes to volunteering my time, and I’m becoming more of a nuisance than a help.
So, from now on, I think I’ll just work on my own customs, sticking them in playtesting when they’re good and ready and then only setting a date when I know they’re 100%. Otherwise I’m just wasting everyone’s time.
(The only exception to this will be the Elite Beat Agents pack. I started work on that pack and I will hold up my end of the deal whenever that pack gets revisited.)
Thank you to everyone who I’ve collaborated with and who has supported my ideas for custom packs and collaborations. Maybe at some point in the future my life will settle down and I’ll be able to contribute to collaborative works again. Until then, I wish you guys all the best with your future work.
Thanks for reading. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />

I am SO DOWN for another Scotland pack! Like seriously. I have some ideas if you end up making a Scotland C02.
