Hey, I am looking for a way to connect a second bass pedal to our drumkit. We have tried a Y-splitter, but it has the problem that you can’t hold down one pedal and use the other.

I have read somewhere that there are these adapters for pedals, but I am having a hard time finding sellers for them. Does anyone know if they are still made and/or it is possible to buy something like that off-brand for another purpose with the same functionality?

What is your kit? And are we talking about any specific game?

Rock Band 3, with the EA default drumkit:

There’s an official product released by PDP that is bundled with an extra kick pedal. Personally, I’d say ‘no’ to this for its lack of speed.

One guy is selling his kick pedals with a tiny adapter. I do recall seeing that adapter somewhere, but can’t remember the brand name. Perhaps he or someone else knows about this. YMMV

You can also build your own circuit.

Or perhaps there is someone at the Doc’s Rock Band Mods community whom you may commission to build one for you.

Thanks a lot. I’ll definitely take a look at those.

Is the drum controller pictured the one you actually have, or do you have one with a metal-plated kick pedal and cymbal jacks on the back? The pictured controller is for RB1, but the controllers for RB2 and RB3 are different. The reinforced pedal and the cymbal inputs are the obvious differences, but the RB2/RB3 controller also has an extra jack near the pedal jack. You can connect a second pedal to this jack and then configure RB3 to treat the second pedal as either a hi-hat pedal or a double bass pedal.

If you do in fact have the RB1 controller without cymbal inputs and such, then, what Oddbrother said.

Then it is a RB1 kit. I found the info what you were talking about, but I checked it, it didnt have the pro-cymbal jacks.

I am looking into making one for ourselves. Thanks a lot for the info.
