Vocals on Lovin’ Touchin’ Squeezin’ need some serious help.

Ha, yeah I could tell from the comments in the post.
Far originally told me to contact you first and see what you’d say. Then, if you reallllllly did not want to pick it up, he would possibly. I mean, in the end, I’d have no problem helping. I’m just terrible with the start/end of the tubes. I’m decent at finding pitches/slides at least so I could possibly just rework those as a start?

– Updated Progress Chart to include Gep’s – Lovin’, Touching’, Squeezin’ project.
– Nyx has taken LTS to work on and take care of.
– Lights is almost tempo mapped, and will be started soon.
– Added list for possible additions to pack. Strong want to do I’ll Be Alright Without You… less concerned for Stone in Love / Mother, Father… but will chart out assuming these main songs do not dry me out too much ha.

– Decided to start I’ll Be Alright Without You. Tempo / drums done.
With the exception of Pro Keys for Feeling That Way + Anytime (and then Nyx’s progress on Vocals), the core 5 [6 with Nyx working on Gep’s LTS] are all expert charted. I’m very excited to see this coming along. Thus, I’ve started another song that I wanted in here as well.
Note on current issues:
– Lights on guitar was giving me a lot of trouble. It’s not a prominent guitar part for most of the song, so I had to rely on a lot of midis/sheets/ect. I believe it came out good, but that’s something I’d definitely like a second opinion on down the road. Just a preparation warning before we buckle down in the future to review everything

Almost EVERY midi/sheet has the same issue where only half the keys seem to be charted. I’m guessing most people were leaving out the parts where there are less prominent keys in the background. Those might just have to become chord progressions with accents on the audible sections (referencing the Pro Keys rule updates). I’ll get something done for them, and someone can figure out if those will work there.
Also, from here on I’ll mostly only post updates for larger information such as song starts/finishes. Had to get my last good rant in
T-2 hours to release. I totally forgot and you will probably read this after the fact but if you have comments to add to the blog post please send them our way.

Ummm, not really. Maybe just make note this is my first C3 release (other other projects before were Drums on the Clockwork Angels album and the BNL – History of Everything which I have not released into a Other Customs post yet)?
Throw a teaser in about how people will likely see some big releases in the near future? *cough cough*
In the end, it does not really matter to me. Maybe a shout out to you/Nyx for the big help and push to get this and future projects up to standards.

I was watching the preview video, and noticed the guitar track was not the most recent update to the song. Got me very nervous. I quickly downloaded the file, extracted the midi, and thankfully saw the correct midi in there.
I’m gonna go ahead an assume that the recording was from earlier with the old file

Alright, it’s what a somewhat heavy heart that I feel I need to call of the remainder of the song/pack that I still wanted to chart. I think that after I’m going to just keep the core 6 songs that we have under work, and not go through bringing in the other 3 (I’ll be alright, Stone, Mother).
I got some news from work that over the rest of the month we’re going to be doing a lot of upgrading and reworking of some of our system. IT wise (what I do), we’re replacing half of our servers with new ones, re-pathing some of our network structure, and getting a new VoIP phone system to replace the 30 year old one we have in place.
It’s going to be a lot of work and hours, and I think I’d prefer to take a break for any major stress in charting new material.
As of right now, outside of Nyx doing vocals when he has the time and such, I’m down to just the Pro Keys on Anytime (just finished up Feeling That Way). There is very littler material that I can find (midis or piano sheets) for Anytime, and the few do not seem reliable or close at all. Sadly, this is probably going to be manual effort, which does suck for the effort it will need.
I’m still planning on fixing the issues once we start the review process, and I’ll still take the time to do the reductions and 5-lanes after as well [that’s not a problem and I want to do that], I’m just done for now adding any new songs to what we have. This will be a solid 6-pack of highly requested songs, and I may come back in the future to revisit and possible release those 3 remaining in a 3-pack or something. If another user requests them on a reserved list or something else they can have them for now if it comes up, if that makes sense.
On a bright note, I am very happy to see the 6 I currently have being so close already for review. I know the process there will likely big a big undertaking in itself, but it’s nice to see the bulk of the main creation* work finished. I did not think 2 weeks ago I’d have 6 songs done up to here ha.
I’m in contact with Nyx through PMs, so hopefully when he has the time these can be finished up and fully ready for the review and revision process. I cannot wait to see this released in the future; I’m pretty excited.
6 songs is pretty good for a pack anyway.

– Updates to the Journey Progress Chart. I’ve been in contact with Gep, and he is starting to rework parts of his existing Guitar/Bass/Vocal charts. Changed those to WIP.
– Nyx is currently looking at Wheel in the Sky, so that has had the review process started.
– Nyx will be providing feedback needed to finished the Anytime Pro Key that I’m still charting (after he finishes Wheel and the vocals for Feeling + Anytime).
– Added Taco – Puttin’ on the Ritz to Reserved Songs (need something else to bounce between while this is all being finished up ha).

– I liked being able to lay out the Journey pack as I did to show progress easier and such, so I figured that I would make one here as well.

– Taco’s Puttin’ on the Ritz has been moved from Reserved Songs to Ready
The file is finished outside of one issue. I’m questioning something on the drum track, and am hoping to talk with an admin who will hopefully sponsor this on how to go about my charting problem. There is a generic drum beat which is played through the entire song, and that has been charted in the expert lanes. I’ve marked areas with a “solo” marker for the sections in question. Here, in the Pro Toms area (as there are no toms at the moment), I’ve charted out what could possibly be put in place of the current chart.
I’m sure these are easy yes/no answers, but I was not sure exactly what to do for a possible C3 release in this case. I feel it falls under the Talking Heads – Burning Down the House idea, where there were bongos/percussion parts charts instead of the basic rhythm as (a) it was more prominent and (
it was more fun to play.If someone wants to pick this up, I can be in contact through PM (to save the constant updates here) about this issue. I’ll provide the download link there as well (unless you all want it here).
