Good Saturday to all
I am late this week with posting songs but I am going to keep my streak alive of posting songs every week this year.
Been busy with getting ready to move & the garage sales of a bunch of crap I no longer need & also busy with the huge Canada 150 pack of songs that MrPrezident & friends are releasing soon, believe me when I say it is a friggin awesome pack.
This week I have 2 songs, no voting or such.
I have not had a chance to test these out thoroughly but they should be good to go.
Expect to see some errors.
on with the show
Tim Mcgraw – My Next Thirty Years
I will add the drums to this ASAP

Bruce Springsteen – Brilliant Disguise

I think the volume might be a little low on Bruce, if you play it & agree can you send me some feedback on it please.

Thanks Samjjones. I only played it once & to say the least I had more than my share of the spiced Rum
July 8, 2017 at 2:14 am #487452Hey all
Last week was the first week this year I failed to post at least one custom, life got in the damn way again.
This week I have one song & a huge announcement.
“Doc’s Customs Outhouse” is getting an upgrade to gold plated indoor plumbing courtesy of the one & only MrPrezident.
After chatting I have signed him to a summer long contract of 6 figures, unfortunately for him all them figures are big fat zeros. There are no benefits & the work hours are long.
I am very excited to have MrPrezident step up & be the man to get this job done. He is definitely one of the coolest guys on here & it’s a pleasure to work with him.
Starting Tuesday “2 out of 3 ain’t bad” is back with a twist.
We are teaming up to bring you some full band, with pitched vocals tunes.
We are not sure if will be weekly or bi-weekly.
We are going to bring you some great classic rock, duets, lady fronted bands, oldies & even some country.
Requests are welcome but keep in mind we are doing these for the Rock band sing alongs & party type atmosphere.
Please do not post a list of 50 songs as they will be ignored, keep it to 1 or 2 maximum.
Ya never know when something might catch our eye.
Please do not expect requests to be fulfilled, we will pick & choose accordingly.
Ok enough chat, here is this weeks offering
Gary Lewis & The Playboys – This Diamond Ring

We will see you Tuesday with three songs to vote on, drop by & see what the “Outhouse” team has up it’s sleeve. It will be worth the visit

Emphasis above added.
You might have seen it, but this thread might help if you want thoughtful suggestions in those areas. I’ve got a little bit of everything over there, all without representation in Rock Band. I’ve done some extensive overhauls and additions in each of the band-centric posts to add tidbits and links. Hopefully something will catch your eye over there… I think I got MrPrez’s attention. At least, I hope so ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif” />
July 8, 2017 at 6:42 am #487458Hey, Thanks Doc!
I know three things about this week’s song –
1. Gary Lewis is the drummer in the band.
2. Gary Lewis is also the son of the famous comedian Jerry Lewis.
3. This song is a real pain in ass to get a gold star on.
Next time, much harder songs.

July 8, 2017 at 9:09 am #487460Would love to see Peter Gabriel Sledgehammer!
July 8, 2017 at 10:27 pm #487478Seeing the words “Pitched Vocals” and “Pro Keys” brought a tear to me eye. This sounds like a solid collaboration and “This
Diamond Ring” is a great song to start with.
The fam and I were discussing what songs to request, and narrowed it down to 5 songs (all part of a hypothetical 70s-themed
“pack”). Since you wanted no more than 2 though…hmmm…
Barry Manilow – “Copacabana” (my 11 year-old will sing the HELL outta this)
Frankie Valli – “Grease”
(and it hurt having to narrow it down to just those two)
July 8, 2017 at 10:58 pm #487480Since you are taking requests, I’d like to request “Red Right Hand” by Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds.

July 9, 2017 at 12:47 am #487483grease – franki valli – barry gibb on backing vocals (with peter frampton on guitar) and has a bee gees vibe to it. can be a party sing-a-long as well.
friends in low places – garth brooks – party sing-a-long. i’m not a country guy, but this song is catchy.
July 9, 2017 at 5:52 pm #487510Thinking of classic party sing-along songs, two came to mind immediately:
The Foundations – Build Me Up Buttercup
Neil Diamond – Sweet Caroline
July 10, 2017 at 6:14 pm #487543This sounds like a lot of fun. Songs popping to mind right now are:
Roxette – How do you do
The hooters – 500 miles
Cheers
July 10, 2017 at 6:45 pm #487544Lots of good requests. Started at least a couple of them already. Be sure to check in tomorrow for what we have on the go this week
