I just popped in to say that I didn’t know The Stampeders were Canadian!

 

As I was pondering that thought and recalling the song, something else occurred……Verbal Sound Effects!

America’s “Ventura Highway” does it with…..Did…dit… dit,dit……Did…dit…dit,dit

 

Back in ’72, (12 yrs. old, mind you) I thought The Stampeders did sorta’ the same idea, (Bom see bom,…bom bom see bom, bom) but if they’re Canadian…..and more so, French Canadian……

Well then I just discovered that it wasn’t sound effects I was hearing at all!…..It’s FRENCH!!!! Bon, C’est Bon!
