Nice! It’s great to have some country tracks mixed into the setlist. They always get a look at RB parties.
Nice job! Thank you for your hard work. Glad to see releases from you. RB needs more country songs.
Got many more country on the go as well. Some that have been requested a few times & even one from a band Nunchuck told me he liked. I wonder if he remembers???
February 19, 2016 at 10:01 pm #463759I just wanted to chime in and say I’m loving your country releases and can’t wait for more! Such an under represented genre in the game.

Dahnlee has been the inspiration for doing these & had as much or more to do with making & releasing these than I did.
We started off just occasionally saying hi & him asking if certain songs would be converted from the Eagles stuff I did. Low & behold a year or so later he asked for a file to see if he could add drums to it. That was a few weeks back & here we are today releasing songs that he had a major part in making. He is a good shit & has renewed my drive to create more tunes. There are more great tunes coming, stay tuned.
Be sure to thank him as well
February 20, 2016 at 1:34 am #463784Collaborations are a great thing. Keep up the great work!
February 20, 2016 at 9:48 am #463806Thanks for the kind words, Doc!
Sam is definitely right about collaboration. I have hovered on the brink of charting for a long time now, but I couldn’t quite bring all the skills together so that my final product didn’t suck. As Doc stepped me through that Alabama song, the missing pieces fell into place and it all “clicked”.
Doc has said many times in this tread that he doesn’t chart, but he’s been working with all the components for years and knows them inside and out. It’s exciting to see it fall into place for him too and a pleasure to work with him…
Especially since we are like Twin Sons of Different Mothers when it comes to music ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif” />
February 20, 2016 at 1:43 pm #463817Through collaboration, I think you can each find your niche (the specific pieces of authoring that you each “enjoy”), and there’s a little bit of peer pressure that helps keep the thing moving along. When you get along well with your collaborator(s)…you don’t want to let *them* down! The hardest part has to be the coordination of the work and, of course…agreeing on which songs to work on!
As others have commented…the “country” genre is one of many that haven’t gotten as much attention as good old “rock” has. It’s great that you guys are starting to explore that space a bit.
I haven’t been around this forum for too long (about a year), but the past month feels like another “golden age” in customs creation. Lots of exciting projects are starting or are already underway, existing partnerships (like Syn/Nunchuk) are pushing out a crazy amount of good songs, new charters arriving on the scene releasing massive hit songs out of the blue, old legends getting back into releasing super high-quality stuff, etc. It’s pretty exciting times for the RB custom community.
February 20, 2016 at 3:47 pm #463823We chose very carefully the last 3 songs of C3’s run. They had to represent the moment perfectly and one of the 3 songs is You Ain’t Seen Nothing Yet. And we really meant it, we really knew everything we were setting up and everything the community was doing pointed in that direction. You have no idea how awesome, and it’s awesome as in inspiring, not just as in wonderful, it is to see what is happening almost 3 years after we started C3. No way we ever envisioned even ONE charter from the pre-C3 era (outside of the RBN world) willing to take on full band authoring, let alone people who never worked on a single instrument for a single song pick up the tools and learn and put in the time to create full band songs. And it’s not a case of “we didn’t think about it”. We did, and we ruled out any outcome nowehere near the one we have right now.
February 20, 2016 at 4:23 pm #463825Sorry to chime in here.
I just want to Thank Dahnlee for his awesome charting job on the country songs.
And of course Charting Godfather Farottone can never be Thanked enough for what he does in this great C3 community.
I like Sam Jones found C3 about a year ago. I always dreamed of a way to make my favorite songs I liked for RB3.
Once I found the C3 site my dream came true. All you charting people do amazing work !!
I purchased RB4 the day it hit the market. I didn’t own a xbox1 and Still Don’t. RB4 is sitting in my music room/ Mancave still wrapped up brand new never touched yet. Why? Because the customs are better than any songs I’ve seen for RB4 and I can’t use E drums with it.
I will probably eventually sell the full band RB4 pack or give it to my Grandson some day.
The biggest problem I’ve found with C3 is, There are so many great songs flying out of the gate. I can’t decide what custom to play next.
Because they’re all so freaking Awesome !! ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif” />
A Big Thanks to all charter’s and collaborators for keeping RB3 and the Dream of being a Rock Star alive…… ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_cheeky.001.gif” />
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU !!!
