Not a fan of Wings in general, but keep on filling those seemingly random GH conversions cause I still download them for my own personal archives.

 

I think you (and possibly nunchuck) may be filling those GH conversions folders for me, so keep on doing whatever you’re doing because my folder will continue to become more and more completed as time passes.

I look forward to the day that all GH songs are fully converted and Rock Band 3 remains the ultimate title for playing all of these songs, for the initiated.

Yeah not my all time fave Wings song but is kinda catchy as well. It was a request. My goal is to get them all done, Nunchuck is a driven individual as well, we should be able to get them done between us & together.

I have to tell you it is very hard to be motivated to drums/harmonies or keys on songs that you would never play that instrument/part. The drums take the most time to fix on these songs, the notes are all there but a lot are in the wrong lane etc & I am clueless to the ins and outs of drumming. I am kinda surprised someone who charts drums hasn’t fixed some of these up yet.

Is Double Vision supposed to be a cover? It’s sorted as “As Made Famous By” in the game, but I can’t find anything that says it was actually a cover in Van Halen.

 

Also, the 2X Bass Pedal version has no drummer animations.

I am not sure about Double Vision, There is no way in hell that’s Lou Gramm singing, if it is he had a bad day. I read up on it & although some say it’s a Foreigner version more say it’s not, I don’t believe it for a second. I grew up with this music, was a DJ for many years & even done a stint in radio. I have NEVER heard this version other than in this game.

As far as the animations in the 2x version it is not a big concern of mine, I sing & play guitar at the same time, I don’t have time to watch animations

I already fixed them on my end, just letting you know. What I found out is that Guitar Hero didn’t have any more covers after World Tour aside from Gimme All Your Lovin and Black Betty, both DLC songs. If you’ve never heard this version before, it just might be a different mix they received for the game. It happened alot with Rock Band.

Thanks C16 I expected to hear this & glad you take it upon yourself to make it the way you like it, it might be a different mix but there is absolutely no way that is Lou Gramm singing, therefore it is a cover to me

I think this may be your answer: Prior to this re-record, in 2004 Foreigner took on Kelly Hanson (Hurricane) as lead vocalist. So it is more than likely him on vocals.

The last 4 are converts from GH3 & prior games, they are multitrack on Guitar/Bass only, They do have a vocal part but there are no words except ONE word at the very end of the song, I know it might sound cheesy but good audio is more important to me, To get quality audio for these, this is what I had to do, It is a bug with Magma that Farottone pointed out. I am not an author so vocals are not possible for me yet. The good thing is you can sing with no penalty & be heard through the game, the bad news is you need to know the words, also there is no drum part, Anybody wants to add vocals or drums to these please do, no need to ask if you can
