I know some other authors are working on more Cars material this year, but we currently don’t have any more planned. UB40 turned out pretty good too, solid reggae groove and that smokin’ vocal track.I think you’ll like what we have in store for this week. We have some good friends helping out as guest-charters this week too, so this one will be very special. Doc will make the announcement tomorrow.

This week on Showdown we have one new tune & one massive upgrade to an earlier song I did way back when.
You get to vote on which song you want released, you can only vote for one.
If we get a total of 21 votes between the two songs we will release both songs on Friday.
If we don’t reach 21 total votes the winner will get posted Friday, the runner up will be posted at the end of week five
So no matter the score your vote counts.
We are doing five straight weeks of 80’s songs
If we go four weeks in a row & get the 21 votes each week the fifth week we will post some great bonus songs.

Kind of a toss-up here. “Monday” isn’t my favorite hit of The Bangles (although it was written by Prince), but not their worst either. So it’s either that or a one-hit wonder…but a pretty fair one at that.
Will say #2 but hope for both.
