I honestly have no idea what jusey is even doing with the mogg and multitracks.
When you open a RB3CON file, you get one major MOGG file which has all the multitracks combined. However, Audacity will load each track as a mono file instead of a stereo file which screws up the sounds for the tracks which were originally stereo (the tracks which were originally mono are still mono and fine).
You don’t have to be a charter to know that really… I thought someone like you would know it actually (you = C16)… Mostly because I assume you’ve loaded many RB3CON files on Magma and then worked with the single MOGG file on Audacity…
Do you NOT do this when adding EMH to those RB3CONs out there?
Also, I get highly annoyed with “(2x Bass Pedal)” in the name of the song as well and totally deleted that Van Halen song from my library. Really hate those useless annoyances to death. Luckily for me, it wasn’t a really good Van Halen song.
the files are free of charge on the net for thisguitar ogg goes in guitar slot, rhythm ogg in bass slot and song ogg in the backing track, pretty simple stuff
1. True. Mods for other games as well but that doesn’t mean I do NOT have the right to state my opinion on something that I find is annoying.
2. There is no guitar ogg, rhythm ogg, or song ogg. When you open up a RB3CON file via Magma, you only get one huge MOGG file which you will have to load in Audacity and fix up back into different files for each track, rather than having them all together.
I don’t normally use Magma because I work with cons that are already built. Any dta or midi, ect I modify I inject right into the con in CON Tools.

I normally open via Magma and repackaged back into a new RB3CON with the fixes… And since I’m not good with Audacity, I tend to use new tracks (thusly removing the whole “multitrack” awesomeness as I end up using mostly empty files and one background file with the whole song in it) instead of figuring out how to fix the whole mono/stereo issue.
Unless you’re purposefully editing the audio for a specific reason, you don’t need to use Magma for midi fixes and even if you do want to use Magma to make sure the midi compiles correctly, you can still take the midi that comes out with the new con and inject it into the one you previously used to open in Magma.
Opening a con in Magma to remove (2x Bass Pedal)tags is a ridiculously roundabout way of doing it. I remove them too since I only keep the most “complete” version of a song and Con Tools does it in dta editor.
Try this, search google for guitar hero multitracks, every song in all these games are available & it`s a hell of a lot easier than what you are doing
I don`t add the 2x to the name, magma does it when it sees a 2x part.

I don’t think he’s doing things the way he does them because he wants to, I just don’t think he knows better. I definitely do alot of things in strange ways to get my results with this game because I’ve learned bits and pieces of different things, rather than whole parts.
Actually the proper way is not to touch the DTA file at all. If you’re compiling them in Magma, you make that selection there. By default “Master?” is checked. Uncheck it, and you got yourself a cover properly marked as the game expects it.
Actually, the proper way is to let the user do he wants, since it’s his own installation. Also, personal attacks are not tolerated. Either respect other people’s positions or refrain from commenting.
Van Halen – I`m The One has a 2x drums part as well as harmonies. I attempted to improve the drum track on this, I hope I didn`t butcher it to bad. This song is definitely devil tiered on guitar & the first person to get gold stars or gets 100% on guitar on this I will do a convert of your choice no matter what it is, show me a video to prove it.Hell yes! We will definitely be playing this one today. Can’t wait to try out the harmonies. I’ll get a video of me getting a 100% on guitar (on easy)… Should get it on my first try. Can I go ahead and request Alice Cooper’s Elected now?

Why would the proper way to use the tools not be good advice too? If you take out the “personal attack”, what I said is still valid and helpful.
