I believe Kemiroch is doing something with this one.

Indeed. I’d say it’s about 80% done. My collaborators are working on keys/vox/drums, and once those are in I will polish it up and release it.

The variety you guys have been choosing is awesome, IMO, so I’d say just keep doin’ what you’re doin’.

    (snip)

Female singer/songwriter week (Carly Simon, Carole King, etc.)

I agree with this, you’ve both been choosing some great, varied stuff and it’s appreciated hugely. That said, I could really get on board with female singer songwriter week. Add Joni Mitchell’s ‘Coyote’ to the list (which I discovered a couple of weeks back and is simply unreal) and you’re all set. Jenny Lewis and the Watson Twins would be good too, country-y and female. And really good.

Nice thanks for the update Kemiroch

I should have known to expect you after mentioning the Stones <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />

Glad to see we have some country fans. <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif” />

So far we’ve had all-request week, U.K. bands week, Female singers week and now Country week. We could go for some suggestions in this area too, like a genre or a decade or both. Or we could just go back to picking 3 random songs. What do you guys think?

Finally, I’m happy to say there will be pro-keys in all three songs.

I personally enjoy theme weeks, so carry on with the good work! The work you two are doing currently reminds me of the good ol’ c3 release Friday’s. I hope you keep with the core theme of being party sing-a-long songs regardless of genre/theme.

With that said some theme’s I would like such as Motown (as Samjjones suggested) also “classic” Pop Week (especially 90’s), maybe a Movie week, movie week one one of my favourite release weeks from c3 many moons ago.

Definitely adding this to our pack suggestions, will check out your choices as I have heard neither.

We are going to try to keep to the singalong party stuff, BUT not all great songs are singalong type We also both like the theme weeks, it makes choosing 3 songs easier if you have a plan.

A couple of these caught my “good” eye

Comedic country week featuring David Allen Coe?

First off, I am excited for this week’s output, and am also super appreciative for all of the previous weeks’ generosity.

What I wanted to state in this post is how fantastic it is to have MrPrezident charting vocals on all of these classic songs. At first, I was hesitant to accept someone pitching the Doctor’s work. For a drunken karaoke guy such as myself, if it is done wrong, it sucks and I would rather sing them unpitched.

However, MrPrezident is in a minority of vocal charters, whom I considered myself to be a part of long ago, that can nail that perfect comfort zone of vocal pitching that makes a song a joy to sing even when a fifth of whisky deep, which is my comfort zone. You, sir, have got it dialed in! You may give Nyx a run for his money if you keep it up…

Many, many thank to the Doc and the Prez for giving us high quality material week after week and slowly becoming one if the new Kings of C3!

    THANK YOU!!!!

WOW This is just one of the best comments I have ever received, thank you. I am thrilled that you are enjoying these, Doc’s always telling me how much he appreciates me ‘pitching in’ (ok that joke is officially done) and I respect the high regard you have for my work. To be compared to Nyx, I mean, I’m speechless. And you yourself, clintilona, are one of the greats and I have always been a huge fan. You are most welcome.

What no Zac Brown fans? Somebody save me, I told my partner he was popular.

I am a Zac Brown fan, they are great musicians and are a blast to see live.

Well i always thought Glen Campbell was just a 1 hit wonder but upon watching the video and subsequent videos on youtube i realized that he was one heck of a guitar player !

    My vote goes to # 2 and # 3 as a distant 2nd.
