Hello Everybody,

 

I have been making custom songs for a while now for home and personal use. I stumbled across the C3 a few days ago and wanted to do something to contribute. I approached the site wanting to donate the songs i have authored so far. Below is a list of the songs i have charted and play well on my xbox. They have only ever been for personal use but i am a perfectionist so they shouldn’t be to sloppy.

 

All songs have a DRUM, BASS and GAT track authored. Have been authored in all difficulties (EMHX). Have OD and solo phases authored and Are single track Audio.

I can tell you that one of your existing tracks has been worked on by one of the C3 authors and is about due to enter testing on our end, though I’ll wait until they give the okay to mention it before I specify which one. I took a look at Something Happened on the Way to Heaven. Tempo map looks very solid. Drums are ok, you’re missing flams and pro makers, but nothing that can’t be fixed reather quickly. Guitar on the other hand doesn’t look great, but I think that can be reworked using tabs, considering that these songs are fairly famous and tabs will be available.

That song was my first attempt at authoring so it probably isn’t to flash, i play drums so tempo maps and the drum chart get a lot of attention, but i never got with pro so there aren’t any pro charts on my songs unfortunately. but hopefully a quick fix, i will author pro drums from now on with my new songs.

 

I have changed the way i author after a few songs and i now use tabs when available, so i hope the others are a little more to the mark.

Pro drums are as easy as putting another note in the pro marker “row” whenever the note should be a pad and not a cymbal. If you need a visual example, grab the Contribution Guide for RBHP, because it discusses charting pro drums upgrades (it’s really easy).

Hey man, we’re gonna use Thriller for Halloween. You did a great job on that, we added keys and vocals and polished it up a bit. We’re gonna credit the song to you alone in the blog post to thank you for your generosity and for the hard work you did in the song. Technically it’s gonna be assigned to me for bug reporting and name display during download because you don’t have a “publishing account” but the song will be credited to you wherever it’s not a technical matter. If by spiffy them up you mean releasing them under C3 with all difficulties, animations, pro keys, etc., absolutely, go ahead. If you want to release them personally, nope, this were asked to the author for a C3 release.
