Hey all, I’m fairly new to the customs world as of the writing of this post, and after finishing my first custom I’m excited to do more. First of all, I just want to say that I’m glad this customs database exists and has reignited my love for rock band again. I’ve been growing bored of playing the same songs over and over and customs from here have given me a greater variety of songs to download and play. Plus I have found a new hobby in authoring some future customs. So thanks C3, you are all wonderful human beings.
This list will act as my virtual notepad to jot down my progress on finished songs, WIPs and future songs to author. I’d like to help fill the void of some artists with a sparse amount of customs which I’d like to see more of, such as Anberlin, Circa Survive, & The Fall of Troy to name a few. I’ll add more as I jam through my ipod at the gym to see what more customs I can author within my amateur authoring skills.
I’m going to stick with legacy instruments as of right now as I know how to confidently author those. I’ll look into harmonies and keys should a song feel empty without authoring it. I work on a Mac so authoring takes a little bit more time for me without CAT, plus I don’t have much free time to work with except on weekends so I’m trying to stick to 2-3 weeks per song.
If you find a song you’re working on already or are interested to collab on let me know! I’m open to help out or cross it off my future customs list.

hey thanks, this is pretty helpful! all I see as of right now is F.C.P.R.E.M.I.X. which is charted already but I’ll keep it bookmarked in case its updated.
Also, finished “The Ghost of You”, check it out! I’ll start “Showbiz” sometime this week.
As far as I’m aware we already have a custom of “A shot in the dark”. I can’t remember the original author, but if you searched the database I’m sure you’d find him and maybe he’d send you over the files. The drums and guitar are pretty solid. It just needs bass and vocals added to it.
Mouths Like Sidewinder Missiles has a pretty good drums/guitar custom in thespike’s spreadsheet, if you want to have a good starting point here:

Last time I searched the database it didn’t pop up. I’ll check through some forum posts though to see if I missed anything, it’d be great to have a good starting point.

totally agree man. I think I’ll start working on Circa once I finish the WIPs.
The vocals on showbiz were annoying and took me longer than expected, just cleaning up the charts for the muse songs and doing reductions. really wish CAT worked on Mac. I SHOULD be done by the beginning of next week, hopefully earlier. I’m putting electricityscape on the backburner till I finish and release the muse songs.

I’m going to take a short break and ease back into charting probably next week. Gonna finish “Electricityscape” and make some progress in the circa charts with “Get Out”. Pretty pumped.
I’m at work so I can’t access mediafire to download but I’ll be booting up my xbox and getting Showbiz & Unintended as soon as i get home. I mostly do vocals and bass so I’ll test those out and guitar too, I’ll give you any feedback i deem necessary.
