Hey everybody.

I play rock band 3 pro drums on ps3 for a long time now with an alesis dm10 kit.

I bought many songs from store and i am afraid to jailbreak.

What i do is playing from YouTube expert songs i don’t have.

I want to ask if there is a way to download a custom song and play it like a video format.

There has been some talk lately about using the Dolphin Wii emulator to make playthrough charts with. That’s one option if your computer can handle that and you can video capture it.

I think the Dolphin is not the solution for me.

So far utube is the only way to follow and play custom songs.

You’re looking to just get video to ‘air drum’ along to, so to speak, on the RB kit?

 

If you’re looking to play that on a console, the only way to do that would be to use one of the many YouTube downloader things to get a copy on your PC and then convert it to a format playable in the PS3’s media player (it may be converted to a suitable format by the downloader already).

 

You’re not going to get MJ customs, though, because they likely won’t get through on YouTube without some heavy manip.

i use utube only on pc.

I’m watching the rock band notes and play along with my drum set kit

But there are many custom songs, utube doesn’t have.

So what i need is to watch on my pc the song playing.

From the collection of custom songs can i download a song and just watch it on my pc?

So you mean i can watch the song in Dolphin?

Can you also record on utube?

With dolphin, you can set it up to play through whatever song you would like. You would then have to record it on dolphin, and then upload it to youtube, or simply take the video with you and watch it wherever you’d like.

 

There is a thread here pertaining to the dolphin thing.

You’ll have a much better experience playing drums with the game on the console.

Maybe later i’ll buy another console just for this.
