I am completely new to this and just trying to get things working. I have watched the instruction video and followed all steps. I am using Party Buffalo just as recommended and all songs I have downloaded have been from the CCC song database
Ok, here is what is happening.
I have a few songs that work fine and i have a lot that show up as corrupted in the xbox system settings viewer (not exactly sure what to call that). It appears that all the files I have that work are recognized by windows as just “file” in and have a _rb3con at the end of the file name. All of the files i have that don’t work are 1) GH songs and 2) all have a .rar file type.
Another observation, when in party buffalo on all the songs i have that work i see “Console-Signed Package” under the file name and then the track name and artist above the date modified. On all the .rar file i try to inject i see only the word “file” under the file name and also no artist and track name.
So what do? I there so type of file conversion that i need to make or is it something else? Any recommendations would be helpful.
On a separate note. I am someone who has followed guitar hero/rockband from the very beginning. It sucked really bad when RB3 stopped releasing DLC and i was (very unwillingly) starting to get out of playing this game, but now that i have found all the custom songs i have a new reason to play again! dont stop making new custom songs. This is awesome.

Here’s some advice for that, and for life in general.
Go to Google. Type in “What is X?” (replace X with whatever you don’t know). Profit.
Here, I did it for you:

Your signature with my quote is kinda cracking me up here.
February 24, 2014 at 2:15 pm #414648You’re not the first person who’s new to RAR archives, wolfblade. I’m going to de-archive all of them this week to prevent this from happening in the future. Sorry for the inconvenience.
(Also, completely unrelated, this thread reminded me that I needed to add this emoticon: )
