Converting Wii Keyboard to PS3?

Hi, I was wondering if anyone has successfully converted a keyboard from Wii to PS3 or viceversa?
I read on a reddit forum that resistor R34 should be removed on both keyboard and dongle in order to convert a Wii keyboard to PS3 and I did it, but can’t get the keyboard to sync in my ps3.
Has anyone done a successful keyboard conversion?
