So my xbox updated a couple of days ago. I tried to configure my new 16gb flash drive for con files. It only says format. It seems to already be configured, strangley enough. So I copied the song cache info to it, but the drive doesn’t show up in Party Buffalo. Please help. If anyone has solved this issue please help. Thanks in advance.
Formatting a flash drive after the new 360 update will format it as FAT32 instead of the way it did before so now Party Buffalo doesn’t work. However because of this change you can now manually drag and drop con files onto your flash drive.
You’ll need to show hidden folders to see the folders.
Alternatively you can use the new RBtoUSB feature in the latest C3 Con Tools which is basically the Party Buffalo replacement
Does this also remove the 256+ song bug from Party Buffalo?
There is no song limit.
I was having the same issue and I’m using Modio 5 now.
I suppose you could use a generic all-in-one tool rather than one tailored specifically for use with RB3 customs
Well, I used it twice because I couldn’t figure out what was causing my issue with Party Buffalo a few weeks ago. Now I can just drag and drop too.
Keep up the good work everyone.
title update 4 is installed but the on screen musicians still glitch and walk through each other, float, spaz out etc. help?

It means it’s not installed.
how do i install then?
im confused. ive wandered around for months now trying to get things to work. for some reason i cant use my usb with modio. it just stopped working all of a sudden. so i reformated it and now it wont read it. i tried to find a way to fix and gave up and got party buffalo. however launching it crashes my computer. then i found this thread and tried the drag and drop method. it didnt work. so now im asking for someones help to make con files work. i have the con files downloaded i just need to do whatever it is you do to get them to work on the xbox. any help would be grately appreciated. thanks in advance.
The circumstance has changed recently since the latest system update for Xbox 360. You should format your USB storage device with FAT32, update your console software and use the latest version of C3 CON Tools to manage and transfer your customs instead.
problem solved! thanks everyone
Why are people are making this harder than it is?
Now you don’t really have to do anything besides open your flash drive in Windows explorer provided you formatted properly and drag and drop the con files..
Make sure you have the song cache on the flash drive as well and voila
It is infinitely easier (and more fool proof) to use RBtoUSB.
