Hi all, complete novice here. I’ve just discovered this awesome site!

Anyway, my wife is a hug fan of the band Ghost. I would like to get as many songs from that band playable for her.

I noticed there are some Ghost songs that have been made for the GH3 modding community that are not available in the RB3 con format. Wondering how difficult it is to convert from one to the other. Is there a tool to do that or is it a manual process that I will need some experience to be able to do?

    Thanks

All songs needs to be fully authored in the Rock Band midi format and processed through magma. Unfortunately there’s very few shortcuts.

If you’re talking about songs by Ghost that are official DLC from Harmonix, then we won’t be discussing those songs here.

Keeping the content Canadian since 2017!

EOF can import QB and NOTE format GH files as long as they’re the uncompressed/unencrypted format that I guess was used on the Nintendo console releases of GH games (ie. *.pak.ngc). You could import, save to MIDI and then clean up the MIDI in Reaper.

No not talking about that, I totally understand and respect the rules… someone did an entire pack of the Prequelle album for GH3.

Unfortunately I only have access to Chart files and it doesn’t look like EOF imports those. Oh well. Maybe I’ll learn how to author and take a crack at it myself…

No worries, I guess I just need to start learning how to author…

        Thanks!

It does. File>Import>Feedback. Make sure you’re using the latest hotfix and not just 1.8RC12 though, as that build is years old.

Ok thanks! Once I start learning maybe I’ll give that a shot…
